  • Ezra Miller is so gorgeous and haunting at the same time! I'm very excited to watch this film =)

  • This movie is... really awful. I've seen the movie last week. Horrible. The actor work is good though.

  • @NobodyTossesADwarf91 I haven't seen it yet, but I'm planning to. I already know about his killing spree, but I just want to see how Ezra Miller and Tilda execute their roles. I want to watch it so bad. >.<

  • So basically the kid is fucked up because his mother was a hippie? :)

  • Ezra Miller is such a good actor. I can't wait to see him in Perks.

  • What was the need for that scene at the end when that girl says, "Doesn't Kevin go to Gradstone (sp?) High?" I don't see how it heightened the trailer or anything...

  • @azmariah94 SPOILER: Kevin shoots some of his class mates, a teacher and a canteen worker. That woman's just heard it on the news. The book and film are about why he did it - have you seen this yet?

  • @thatmovieguy777 and here 1:07 O.o

  • It's a beautiful movie ! Ezra miller and tilda swinton give a best performance.

  • I CANNOT WAIT to see this film AND Tilda Swinton in it! For me this novel was simply beyond unforgetable, I absolutely loved it, in spite of the chillingly depressing subject matter. Lionel Shriver, who wrote this book I am in awe of. I can't put it any other way!

Where can this movie be seen? Anyone?

  • i watched this movie yesterday and i loved it so much! it's one of the best i've seen! Tilda's performance was amazing and Ezra Miller OH MY GOD! that guy is awsome in this role, i had a scary dream about him last night, that's how good he is. So creepy and gorgeous at the same time that it will hunt you in your dreams after you watch this.

  • A trully amazing adaptation to the book. Those who don't like and/or don't understand it need to go back to school and learn what it's like to be able to sit down for longer that ten minutes without getting bored ... I guess I'm the only person here who could afford a real education.

  • @brunomassey What an absolutely ridiculous thing to say. I was educated in a public school and wrote my thesis on 'We Need to Talk about Kevin'. I have no understanding on how the size of your wallet has anything to do with your ability to comprehend a book.

This is the thing about private schools, although the education is second to none, it is the social element of school that one could possibly lose out on.

  • @TheWildfire667 Nobody cares so be quiet

  • @brunomassey there's also the psychological side to the book, that's what interested me the most, but my mum on the otherhand found it highly dull and just saw it as a mother droning on in letters. I think to a point it does depend on the person in question who reads it, plus it may freak some people out reading it or just not be something they would read.

  • @brunomassey Arrogant twat

  • @brunomassey douche

  • this movie sucks

  • What a booooooooring movie!!!

  • whole lot of nothing happened

  • So which part of the trailer was in HD?

  • we need to beat kevin to death and then blow up his corpse and then drown his corpse... so we make sure he's dead.

  • Where can I watch this?

  • I really hated this movie, I felt like I was watching the Director masturbate for a couple hours.

  • @Zsmart Thats what in the song at the start

  • @TheOrangeMickey everyday by Buddy Holly

  • can someone tell me what he is eating at 1:17

  • @thatmovieguy777 I wondered that during the movie as well.

  • THIS IS ONE FUCKING AMAZING MOVIE!!! I RECOMMEND EVERYBODY TO WATCH IT FOR SURE <3

  • I need to see this. NOW

  • This is truly one of the best movies I've ever seen.

    I loved it!!

  • Watched the film twice, read the book. The book is an intelligent read, and the film is a great adaptation.

  • 0:10 song name ?

  • @Iquids "Everyday", by Buddy Holly.

  • Truly one of the most captivating and gripping films I have ever seen. The performances in this film are outstanding. This is a definite must see! x

  • Just watched this and I thought it was phenomenal. Ezra Miller's and Tilda Swinton's interactions together are chilling. I hope this film gets the recognition it deserves.

  • Kevin was such a psycho. In the end he didn't even know why he did it! The ending left so much ambiguity it was killing me. Plus I don't get why he killed his dad and sister and not the mom, it seemed like he hated her more than anything. Definitely worth a watch

  • @AwkwardDhuckie That's exactly why he killed his dad and sister; he hated his mum the most and so she had to be the one that lived through it all. That's how you punish someone you hate. :(

  • @ThatIzzyGirl Ohhhh! That does make a lot of sense. But in the very end of the movie I think he kinda showed his mom some love, because he was scared of going to the "Big-Boy"Prison. So they hugged and stuff, that's why deep down I think he actually did love her.

  • @ThatIzzyGirl That's not why he killed them.

  • @AwkwardDhuckie He didn't kill his sister and father because he hated them. He didn't hate his mother either. Kevin didn't feel emotions. That's one of the central problems. Kevin killed his father and his sister because they wanted him to like them. They did everything they could to please him and get his respect, so he couldn't respect them. His mother gave up and physically hurt him one day, this forced him to respect her and realize that she wasn't trying to win his approval anymore.

  • @twitchmctwitchington Oh wow thanks, I'm learning new things about this movie all the time now (I'm kinda obsessed at the moment). But why did he kill the students at his school? By the way, would I understand more if I read the book? (Assuming you've read it)

  • @AwkwardDhuckie I've only read the book since the movie hasn't come to any theaters near me yet. He only killed certain students though, it wasn't randomized. They were all herded to the gym because he wanted to eliminate the best of the best. A student excelling in theater, a student excelling in chess, a star athlete, etc. I think it was said that he killed them because he was jealous that they were so talented. He had the plan for awhile but finally acted after overhearing the divorce talk.

  • @twitchmctwitchington Well I guess the book is always better than the movie! Thanks again, I plan on trying to find the book this weekend.

btw if you can't wait to watch it here's a LEGIT site. [Free,NO download]

    h t t p : // www1 . zmovie. tv/ movies /view /we -need-to-talk-about-kevin-2011

I had to put spaces because it wouldn't let me post it other wise! If you do watch it I hope you enjoy it like I did.

  • @twitchmctwitchington "he was jealous" <-but that would be an emotion.

  • @Dan3099 You're right, I meant to say he feels no emotional attachment to anyone in his family with the exception of when he was sick and the very end. I guess I added it in my mind and not in my entry.

  • Erza Miller's acting was atrocious.

  • I've read a book so similar to this in america its scary. Still havent watched the movie but i intend to.

  • B O R I N G

  • This film kind of sucked, mainly because of the terrible acting by the kid who played Kevin. We're talking bad community theater level bad here. Tilda Swinton was of course magnificent as always but she was barely able to hold this film together. 2 stars out of 5

  • @iFruit96 lol I've seen it just yesterday, but thanks anyways xxxxx

  • This movie was pretty good and the fact that Ezra is uber attractive doesn't hurt either.

  • PSYCHO KEVIN

  • you'll know what "disturbing" means once you've seen this film.

  • it's a really good film, but just cannot hold a candle to the book. if you've only seen the film, deffo read the book

  • This is an incredible movie.. chills x

  • song?

  • @Yamada802 The classic song is "Everyday" by Buddy Holly :-)

  • Great movie!!

  • EAGLEuyaGAMER is there Kevin's best friend Leonard Pugh in it? If yeah, who is he played by?

  • @xmissmusicstarx I know you didn't ask me, but i'll tell you that he isn't in it.

  • Ive already seen it

  • I just finished reading this book about 20 minutes ago, and 20 minutes later I am stilll truly speechless. One of the best books i've ever read. I cannot wait to see the movie now!!

  • excellent psychological thriller

    very disturbing

  • I freakin' love Ezra Miller and CANNOT wait to see this movie.

  • @oregonisboring it tells us some people are born to be sociopath and nothing can save them

  • The mother of a teenage boy who went on a high-school killing spree tries to deal with her grief -- and feelings of responsibility for her child's actions -- by writing to her estranged husband.

  • wats it about?:p

  • @9letters2woorden kelvin is a killer. he kills students and teachers one day at school. and they start talking about him. why would a teen do something like that.

  • Not at all how I imagined the characters, but excited to see it nonetheless!

  • @AnarchistOverMan what do you mean? I think he portrayed the role perfectly.

  • Miller has had such a good year, it's about damn time

  • I feel like the guy playing Kevin is kinda overdoing it.

  • Great Film. Ezra Miller was great. He just has a kind of natural sinisterness to him kind of like Malcolm Mcdowell.

  • The film was really excellent, one of the best adaptations I have ever seen. It's definitely for those who don't mind some scenes which are quite stretched out and emotionally based. Very much enjoyed it.

  • Sounds Good :o

Probably Wouldn't Have Known What The Film Was About Tho If i Hadnt Read The Description :L :L

  • the trailer is a disappointment

  • The book is incredible and this film seems to capture it perfectly. I have to see this.

  • " go to your little job or your little school but you're not going to hear about that on the six o'clock news because nothing is really happening... it's got so bad that half the time the people on tv- their watching tv. what are all these people watching? people like me."

  • We need to talk about how gorgeous Kevin is

  • @foxyswedee HAHAHAHA SO TRUE

  • @oregonisborin Kevin is a sociopath he killed 7 students, a cafeteria worker and a teacher who tries to befriend him and his mum Eva is trying to live with what he did and she gets dirty looks and taunts from nearly everyone

  • Another great example of how UK trailers are [usually] much better than the US ones. Compare this to the US trailer and tell me which one is better.

  • @oregonisboring Watch it and find out. Nobody knows what the problem is, unless you've read the book perhaps. That's sort of the point of the movie :)

  • 1:21, talk about emo?

  • 0:32 that's a hellova lot of soup...

I am SO going to see this :3

  • Just the trailer gave me shivers down my spine.. Definitely going to watch it

  • John C Reily doing drama again? sign me up

  • @JesusTheGardener look at his carreer he has done a lot of solid dramas

  • I read the book and the boom is the best I have ever read

  • I CAN"T WAIT T_T

  • Well tbh the film has no structure, so the trailer cannot really tell the sotry. it flips from past to present and illusions and reality. It's pretty good though. The trailer makes it out to be some comedy which it isn't.

  • @hanito294 can't tell if trolling...

  • @jazzykoenig err no. I saw it the other day hun.

  • @hanito294 The trailer makes it out to be a comedy? In what way?

  • @AchmedVonEpicPantz at the beginning. okay not a comedy but like a happy film at the beginning. I dunno just people in the cinema were laughing and it really isn't a funny film.

  • @hanito294 it does have funny parts, it does have upbeat music. that's how it plays with your emotions. it lifts you up, and when you think it will nicely turn into a comedy, it shocks you. the thriller work much better like this. i loved the soundtracks.

  • @4kuj1n i agree with every word you just said but

i couldn't understand if you've watched it or your just talking

    about the trailer

  • @weasley2o13 I've watched the film quite a while back. I live in London.

  • anyone got a link that actually works!?

  • 480 isn't hd muthafucka!

  • What a terrible trailer, it tells me nothing about the movie, so I shall never now watch it!

  • @MickiTuk It's about a mother trying to figure out how she raised a mass murderer. Do some research!

  • @MickiTuk your a stupid fuck, trailers arn't meant to tell you about the movie, because that would defeat the point in watching it properly.. oh and where's your creativity bitch!

  • can't wait!!

  • This film gives me the chills. One can just smell the hatred from here.
