  • americans are more racist,.. if you dont like it there then get out! simple as that., before it is to late and you will hear them say "gu hom wyt pigu"

  • France urged citizens with no reason to stay in Tokyo to return to France or head to southern Japan. An Indian software services company, L&T Infotech, chartered a flight Wednesday to evacuate 185 employees and their families.

  • Being a male has to be even worse. :/

It's unfortunate how many guys give all western men a bad rep by acting stereotypical with Japanese women. It makes it suck for people who love Japan for reasons not related to anime or porn. :/

  • You never know about guys in the U.S. army. I was watching a news piece about how gang members were joining the military to learn street tactics.

  • There's garbage everywhere!

  • Wise words.

  • karateforlife777, that's nice to know and all, but how do you exactly know they are Korean Japanese? It's pretty hard to distinguish between a Japanese and a K/J. I just don't think it makes sense for them to be racist towards others while they are mixed themselves.

  • japan is always racist country and the people always acting polite but they are liars!

  • @BinggenWu

The reason is that you are liar inherently and anti-japan Chinese. So,Of course all Japanese hate you.

What do you do in Tibet and Uighur now?Liar barbarian of shamelessness.

  • racism is everywhere, coz we do look different

  • Great video mate. I have been to Japan many times but never experienced racism except from the Korean Japanese Community. I think most Japanese, when they find out I'm a Kyokushin Sensei, they treat me with more respect. I least that's my experience. Then again every culture and race has their bigots. You just keep going and live your life.

  • In Europa is the worst !!!!!

  • Just goes to show there's racism everywhere you go. I'm from Canada and have grown up with people from every corner of the world. I personally consider it a pleasure learning about all these different cultures. It's a shame that people still judge others on their ethnicity, but it's the reality. All you can really do is show respect to everyone and act accordingly.

  • racism is everywhere. I'm Asian and I live in America. I grew experience racism from white people most of my life.

I think if your white going to Asia your experience some of my pain. It doesn't make it right but that's how it is.

  • I'm a Russian - Afghan otphan who grew up in Hong Kong under british rule. You guys don't know what racism is.

  • lot of respect for you dude, very true what you say in this video. :)

  • u look like someone lol

  • good perspective! yeah, japanese people don't care about what race are you from...but expect some people that will treat you indifferent because you came from outside.are you still living here in japan?

  • @mamaito88 Yes. I usual travel every month to a different country for work but now I am building a training centre in Saitama-shi, So I won't be travelling for a while..

  • This is very odd. I don't by any means want to downplay your opinion because it sounds like you've had an eventful stay so far. However, I've seen several other videos about racism in Japan and a few of them say that the Japanese are incredibly racist against Koreans, Chinese, and Philipenos (in general). I guess I'll just have so see when I get there.

  • @Atropos06 Agree. Especially vs Chinese.

  • are you familiar with the racial intensity towards a black girl/guy in Japan? or are all American/foreigners treated similiarly there?

  • @kk4christ777 Hey, actually I got more black friends here than white.. I've worked with/for Nigerians and got a lot of Nigerian, Jamaican, Kenyan etc friends and unfortunately they do cop it. I got three mates from the US, black fellas and they seem to be fine.. Wanna know sumthin' Fuuucked up?? When part of my own family here found out my Grandfather is Polynesian (what they consider black) I got banned from their house... Yeah, it's messed up!..

  • japanese men get intimidated by foreignors specially whites

just like southermen are intimated by blacks in the south. and u know why.

  • this is all true, but you should try being black in japan. some places ppl were cool, but the racism just ruined the trip.

  • @chefawkes ummm you said that the racism in some places ruined the trip for you in Japan....... i've been looking for first hand experience for awhile, could you please just expand on how it was.... please

  • if you live as a minority anywhere in the world you will experience racism. thats just the way it is. fuck racist bastards.

  • wtf when you said you can get banned from japan if you smoke weed for some reason in my head i said paul mccartney and i was right ahahahh

    i honestly didnt know lol

  • I notice your name was Raw Combat.......did you do martial arts in Japan??/ Cause ill be doing that too....

  • I am Japanese-American and I too experience racism. Whenever I speak English, some people would stare at me like I'm an alien or something. I don't get it. And just in case if anyone was wondering, every Japanese was not born racist... :)

  • i love yourr videoss ;P thankyouu for sharingg this storyy xD

  • I'm sorry for your experience, I mean I won't tolerate racism against any race... perhaps I do have hatred towards racists themselves, but I don't see why people are racist, see people as individuals, they deserve respect, get to know them before you judge, and ignore ignorant racists because , life's too short pleasing everyone

  • Like your perspective man. I plan to go to Japan one day, mainly to check out the historical sites like battlefields and temples and all of that stuff. But also to just enjoy the different atmosphere and check it out. I like what you're saying. Allot of people go over there and nod and bow and talk in a high pitched voice and turn themselves into little bitches to try to be accepted. As far as I'm concerned, there will be wise people there who are open minded and the rest can get fucked.

  • koreans have historically got the public racism on the basis of the small-sinocentrism -小中華思想- towards the Japanese. In this reason, Japanese hate koreans as a black does, a Taiwanese, a Malaysian, a Singaporean, a Myanmarese, Cambodian, an Indian, an American, a Briton, an Italian, a Kirghiz and a French. And also because of thire crimes; many robberies, prostitutions and rapes.

We know that koreans hate an African and there is a heavy racism towards them in korea.

  • @pyrrusoverwinning, I agree that there are some discrimination towards African Americans, but your claim of Korean's small-sinocentrism is blatant hypocrisy. The reason why many OLDER Korean people dislike Japanese is because of the Japanese government's war crimes, specifically Unit 731 and Japanese Military Sexual Slavery that they have not given any type of compensation so far. If you are not familiar with the terms above, please Wikipedia them.

  • I guess there are bigots in every country. Whenever I go visit my relatives over there, I too experience a little bit of racism. Even at the airport, I speak fluent Japanese and I 'd ask the employees a question, and they'd be polite and all but as soon as they see my US passport, they treat me with this "uekaramesen". That's why hate the kantou area. I've never had this experience in the Kansai area though.

  • I feel ya! Irefuse to betalkd down to and really dislike that about the kantou area also.. many people here are two faced and cant say want they mean.. Even Japanese say that here..

  • @RawCombatJapan

Sorry you had to experience these unfortunate incidents but you can humble yourself and not going down to their level. Yes Kansai people are friendly as long as you're not a Yomiuri Giants fan! LOL! I hope you like Hanshin!

Yeah brothers cause problems in my country though.... They always see themselves as victims but they are in my country so they should respect my country's laws and customs instead of black vs. white/yellow issues.

  • hang in there ..... good luck!

  • so what if they are

leave them alone and they will leave u alone

  • Lol, I live in & have a business in Japan dude, how am I going to do that exactly??? Did you even watch this and hear what im saying?

  • dude are you serious? i though they liked white people, i though they were only racist against brown people and black people. anyways i think i kind of understand why there is hardly any Japanese people in Canada now XD

  • There r lotz of Japanese in Vancouver! and I myself is Japanese studying in canada too! Most of us do like white ppl, and that is not true that we r racist against black ppl... lotz of japanese girls love to have black boyfriends... I guess we r just not so used to see foreigners or we r scared of them I guess : /

  • But, it still IS racism even when "we're not used to them or sacred." Preamble to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states, "recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world,"and Japan signed this. So, there's no excuse for defending discrimination here. I'm a Japanese, born and raised in Japan, but I will not tolerate any form of discrimination in my country.

  • @RawCombatJapan Awesome. I would also want to live in Japan.

  • Thank you man, im a Filipino and I think this video is one of the most honest ones ive ever seen on youtube.

Thank you for sharing it to us.

  • personally i hate racism, great video man one new subscriber here

  • people like you further confirms that Japanese are great people. Sure, any where you go you're going to find your idiots, fools, and extremists. Ignorance is not confined to specific nationality or a region, it happens every where. The situation only seem big is because the extremists tend to be the loud ones.

  • @sleepykid156

Mostly it happen in places where no foreigner, gainjis or ausländer live.

  • Comment removed

  • WTF do you kids know about this!?

  • do the Japanese show rasicm toward their Chinese, Filipino counterparts?, i know all 3 hate Koreans ;D

  • As far as Japan goes that bullshit.. Old Japanese women study Korean cos Korean drama is HUGE in Japan they have Korean drama fan club groups, Korean restaraunts are huge in Japan. My wife went to Korea just recently for shopping with her mum. They love the place and the culture.. Saying that you KNOW all 3 hate koreans is quite mindless I think.

  • k, well i know Koreans hate Japs. Epsecially cause of those ultra nationalist bull shitters.

  • Dude, Ive lived with 46 Koreans in total and trained with some of their special forces instructors.. Not even them hated Japan.. They were all jealous of my Japanese girl friend (now my wife). Seriously why do you guys think up this stuff?? It seems YOU have something against Japan.. I think all politicians are lying sacks at the best of times.. In my country, in Japan.. Everywhere.. that doesnt make me think differently about the general public though.. DO you KNOW any Japanese?

  • Even here in germany they hate each others but they are both nice people.

  • @pyrosheen isn't that like all rednecks hate niggers?

  • @RawCombatJapan I agree with you for the most part except when it comes to Mainland Chinese. Japanese are not very fond of China nowadays, mostly because of their products (poison etc), a recent poll by the Japan times even confirms this..

  • @chrisshwada

LOL ,I've never been to China but I'm sure not all of the Chinese people are manufacturers, and product makers . Wow, why is that even put down as a reason to not like someone?

  • Come to America

    The "Only" Land of Freedom

  • @MG14SP lol, is that right?

  • a land which murders women and children in Iraq

  • Fuck america, i live here and it's racist as fuck.

  • @xXxXxXx1337xXxXxXx

    Every country has racism. I

  • @xXxXxXx1337xXxXxXx all american are immigrant,so next time any one chattin shit to u in america, just tell em go back to ur country u fucking immigrant. and learn to fight so u can kick their racist ass

  • @xXxXxXx1337xXxXxXx

if u think america, u havent seen europe

  • @xXxXxXx1337xXxXxXx really how?

  • @sexyhotro America is actually the worst country ever in my eyes. I live in California and they are FUCKING RACIST. This Hispanic lady that was working at the front desk of my school. Being Taiwanese and my first day into a new school/city, the lady didn't even bother to look at me none the less speak to me. She just pointed to the attendance office and looked the other way, sticking her nose up.

What a good first impression at a new school -_-;.

  • I use the gaijin card in my favor all the time (accuse people of anti-gaijin biased when I don't get my way).

Frankly, I have not experienced any racist situation (except one time) in 7 years, and I agree with you, you've got to push back, and hard/loud if you get any attitude. If not, it will continue. You want them to step aside and look away as you approach.

  • Europeans went allll over the world and opressed everbody they came in contact with, and the funny thing about that is

everybodys been tricked into denying that fact, what is " the good white man", going to do about his brothers? why nothing

because he benefits from the killing too.

  • To: RawCombatJapan

What kind of problem that most likely arise for an outsider to marry a Japanese, any experience??

    Thank you

  • Interesting to hear your experiences and perspective.

I rarely have contact with other gaijin here.

Keep up the good work, cobber!

  • You know Kanji? im just curoius... im tryin 2 learn but its really hard

  • how were you able to learn the language fluently?

  • after you go to the philippines, visit india next.their main religion(hinduism) is based on racism.even gandhi himself is racist towards black people.

  • That I disagree with. I just stay with Indians in London who are all hindus. They were in NO way racist towards blacks! Have you actually been to India or Malaysia were there are Many Indians?

  • Yeah I'm a half black-latino brit and I have Hindu friends who obviously aren't racist lol

My plan....I'm studying an english degree an then planning to stay on for an xtra 2yrs to be a proper certified degree lvl english teacher then I guess I'll trawl Asia doing that while I CONTINUE writing comics...lol

Lng plan but hopefully it'll work out as swish as yours....also planning to learn the lingo before I come dwn

  • You won't find racism in Islam. Islam teaches us that no matter what color you are, Black, White, Grey, Blue, Green or even Red you are not diffrent from each other except by Taqwa (Obedience to God).

  • Apparently all of the big teachings teach that ;-) .... What happened? lol

  • You seem like a decent guy,! What your on about is what Aboriginals face in their own country everyday dude, I can feel what you saying! The world is a messed up place, just got to rise above the madness!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you. Yes, in ways I feel for the aboriginals. The city type and bush type are two totaly different people. I have always loved the bush culture and respected the butchula tribe (my area) but my mother grew up in Arnem Land.. You should check that out.. We learnt alot about the bush when we we kids thanks to Aunties & Uncles. Its kinda what led me to where Im at today.

  • Desipise??? Well, funily enough Ive never heard a bad thing said about Chinese nor Koreans despite what everyone says.. Also, there are alot of Brazilians here.. Tons for a fact, many Japanese do business in Saudi Arabia and around the meditaranian.. I spoke to a friend today who's dad works in Saudi Arabia.. so yeah, dont know where that all came from.. have you ever been here??

  • i never seen anyone drinking in pablic park except for homeless people. homeless people here is bit differernt form homeless in US. many of them are out of work beasue of the rigid labor market. many are hard working actually. so we let them drink in park.

and pot is big deal in here. if i lit joint in japan, i will diffidently lose my job and most likely sent to jail.

  • Go to the Philippines. You'll see what genuine Fucking Racism means.

  • i'm filipino....but i just think that a lot of my fellow filipino are racist......really!!!!!!!

  • After you go to the Philippines, visit India next.Their main religion (Hinduism) is based on racism.Even Ghandi is racist towards black people and he's considerd a saint to some indian people.

  • listen kid, settle down there a minuet.. Every place is different, i dont know how much you`ve travelled but I have spent alot of time in muslim countries also and I know what you`re talking about but all that preaching is ridiculous! I live in Japan, right now im in Europe teaching seminars but i have travelled alot.. hope you get to see the world soon.

  • (Final) I still get connected to other foreign friends I used to hang out with in Japan. As for the japs I used to call them friends in JP, I never received a single e-mail...

That´s a little bit of my story bro..

    Cheers

  • (3/3) I think all this racism mindset has its roots on Japanese history of conflicts with their neighbour countries, striving to expand its territory though invasions in order to get access to more natural resources, food, as well as submiting other countries to their culture wich they always believed to be above all others. Of course I had great times in Japan, but after 2 years from my return, whenever I remember anything of that time, usually it´s something unpleasant.

  • (2/3) I learned their language (got level 3 in JLPT) and read many books on their culture trying to understand why the hell it´s so hard to them having gaijins in Japan. I also had two japanese girlfriends, and whenever I asked them about this racism matter, they would come up with excuses like "japanese people are shy, not used to talk to foreigners so they just don´t know what to do", just bullshit...

  • (1/3) Thanks for sharing your story! I`m from Brazil and lived in Japan from 2004 up to mid of 2006 as expat of a Japanese Company which I worked in Brazilian branch. Although I had all the company support, it was really hard for me to face all this racism shit, and some friends of mine who were there by that time have the same opinion. All of us just wanted to fininsh our contracts and get out of there.

  • Thats a very nice story.. thnks for sharing...

  • Well spoken friend!!!!!

  • Im Moving To Japan On Friday. Do You Have Any Good Club Sug.?

  • I personally dont like Roppongi, but it's worth a look and even if you cant speak Japanese it's ok. But If you hang out there you'll never learn anything about the place.. depends what you is coming for ay. umm, other than that.. I guess Shibuya.. Wait, WHERE are you moving to? What area? I just came back from a 4 day contract in Osaka and went to heaps of places there too..

  • I think that foreign men that go to live in Japan have it worse than women going over to live there.

By what you said "You're only here to bang out women.." and all that. It's just one of those stereotypes for men, so I think it's harder for you guys.

  • You know, I feel really bad that the U.S. is portrayed so badly in other countrys, ecspecially Japan. =( It's such a humble country and I want to be pround of where I come from when I visit. =( Ya know? Ooh, and great vid man! =DD

  • Do be proud mate! Very serious! Fuck that! just cos there's other idiots out there, no way! I only got a couple of Aussie mates here, I tell you straight, the rest of them (in my time here) are fuckin' wankers! I wanted to smash them very bein' how they are at first, now I just try to lead by example and in my own way. One thing I give to America is that you guys present your flags and know your history, too many Aussies just dont care, and thats sad!

  • I agree with you. I wish to show other countries that America isn't a horrible place filled with horrible people. I wish that racism would go away and we could all visit other countries without having to overcome a barrier that our peers set for us. Great videos! Keep them up!

  • I enjoyed watching this video, I can really relate. I just posted a video about the racist experiences I've had in Japan too.

  • hey what area are you living in? great points and thanks for sharing your experiences. i live in Tokyo. anyways i will definitely subscribe, cheers.

    -DC

  • so all the asians get along there in japan? that's cool... i was about to be disappointed if they still carry grudges over the wars when japan attacked the rest of asia, and then later bombing japan for retaliation... sorry to hear about the smoking area dude, that really sucks...

  • it all depends on the person as an individual. but i guess in japan everyone who's a foreigner, they are all the same to them. I often get mistaken for a spanish person but i'm use to it. and suprisingly i get mistaken at where i work for an asian, like Filipino; and chinese; becuase of how i look. i am neither, i am a native american. i'm totally interested in japan and its culture, and would like to go there one day. you videos are informative thank you :3

  • This was pretty helpful man. I've been reading articles on the internet about racism in Japan, but it just seems too one-sided. You showed both sides of the story, thanks.

    peace from NY
