i'm honestly trying to refrain myself from listening to all the pulled audio from the movie.. i have yet to see oddsac, i just ordered it on netflix.. but damn this is nearly too good to stop listening to! it's new animal collective damnit! and it's so good!
idk i have to say, i was rly excited to see the movie after listening to these songs on youtube, they are fucking amazing. but i was kinda disappointed with the movie, there were a few good sequences, but overall, just ok. but it does not take away from the fact that the music to it is simply amazing!
Generally I think ODDSAC was pretty cool. However I think it failed to continue with the quality that the first 10 minutes (the visuals for this song) had, both creatively and production quality wise. The body of the film had some flashes of brilliance but I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed by the whole experience.
lysergic acid diethylamide. this movie is about people. it's about the human race from the primordial evolutionary spawn through the trials and tribulations of the dark ages all the way into the present. and it's also about very cool very weird friends making a very weird, very cool movie together. get into it.
Very cool song+film. I was surprised by how disturbing certain parts of it were, actually. Overall, though, I loved it--I like the return to a sound reminiscent of "Here Comes The Indian".
I also feel some Fever Ray/The Knife love coming through on this track. :)
@popthepoop1 i felt stupid watching oddsac it was the dumbest thing ive ever watched guys in costumes running around pointlessly no real content ...music was shit ....and believe me i love experimental electronica and all kinds of electronic music but most of time the music in the movie was complete shit blur, only posers and hipsters can acctualy say that its ART its fuckin garbage!
@BRADANDKALEB i agree with you. the media has thrown together 'the hipster' as a stereotype of many different groups of creative people resulting in some sort of rediculous 'arty' hybrid which doesn't resemble anyone.
i feel my heart pumping, i feel my bladder...doing whatever it does, i feel my liver cleaning the shit in my body. i feel my saliva down my throat, i feel my toes support each other with my heel keeping them down from the back. i feel my knees locked, my back arched, my hair tickling the back of my ears. i feel my toungue inbetween my teeth, my bruise right above my elbow, i fell my lungs expanding just to quickly deflate. i feel myself, and its great to feel myself working.
oddsac was like a mixture of all their albums put together. it was one of the most terrifyingly beautiful things i have seen in a whiiiile. almost got sick watching it! LOVE THAT.
I really fucking love the film! I went to the L.A screening. It was amazing! I can't wait to see it again! I swear when I hear this, the scene just pops into my head
@HIbradley27 yeah, i know some of the stuff for the film was written five years ago or so but i hope their next album is more like the score from the film. merriweather just didn't do it for me.
@HIbradley27 I LOVE that "organic" sound you hear on Feels- every time those stacks of guitar samples start building or the shakes and shivers of "natural" sounding percussion, etc. jump in, it makes me wanna dance like crazy.
Man listening to this song again after 4 months is just amazing, but not as good as when I first watched it!!!, ahh i will never forget that day! This song is probably my favourite, It's definitely trippy, as for this whole visual album!
ODDSAC was totally amazing for anyone who liked early Animal Collective a bit more. I think we're in for a treat with the next album.

WHAT THE FUCK IS A HIPSTER
i have yet to see one its a stupid fucking non existent stereotype that retards like you keep throwing around i see it in every fucking video
its not supposed to have a story line its a visual album not a movie
visuals to accompany the music
anything is a form of art theres no guidelines as to what is art
you may not percieve it as art
whatever its not ur cup of tea thats all
