  • ODDSAC was totally amazing for anyone who liked early Animal Collective a bit more. I think we're in for a treat with the next album.

  • Is it just me, or is Peter Griffin singing along 2:40 onwards?

  • @srimecrime Fucking hell, that made me laugh way more than it should've.

  • @srimecrime haha you're crazy dude lol lemme go light up and maybe i'll hear what you do

  • i can't help but notice how much more enjoyable this is with the visuals

  • is that deakin singing?

  • 1st viewing: kind of dissapointed

2nd viewing: you know, this is pretty awesome actually

2rd viewing: this is all normal and very beautiful

  • The whole movie I was baked as fuck looking at my homies with my hand to my mouth going "WHAT THE FUCK!".

  • @STEEZEMCGEE lol my ex did the same thing when we watched it stoned

  • i looooovee this song! but i gotta say the actual video is incredable!

  • Fuck you @iamREEFAIR, go listen to New Found Glory.

  • Is perfection a place or just a glimpse at hard work's face?

  • I have oddsac, its such a trip

  • i'm honestly trying to refrain myself from listening to all the pulled audio from the movie.. i have yet to see oddsac, i just ordered it on netflix.. but damn this is nearly too good to stop listening to! it's new animal collective damnit! and it's so good!

  • i feel like a lot of people forget that this is even an album. pretty dang good tunes.

  • Ive seen the movie 5 times now and its better every time. Without the visuals the music feels empty.

  • the dvd is amazing. so glad someone has these up on here, cuz i would buy the music from it, but i cant find it just as a cd...

  • better this way

  • so much better with the visuals

  • ordered the DVD..

  • idk i have to say, i was rly excited to see the movie after listening to these songs on youtube, they are fucking amazing. but i was kinda disappointed with the movie, there were a few good sequences, but overall, just ok. but it does not take away from the fact that the music to it is simply amazing!

  • amazing

  • A visual rush

  • Generally I think ODDSAC was pretty cool. However I think it failed to continue with the quality that the first 10 minutes (the visuals for this song) had, both creatively and production quality wise. The body of the film had some flashes of brilliance but I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed by the whole experience.

  • watch it on shrooms, itll change your life.

  • My girlfriend bought me the dvd :)!

  • I've seen the film at two screenings now and It's fucking awesome, just go and see it if they have any dates left because the DVD will not suffice!

  • this track is so good it blows my mind

  • O D D S A C

lysergic acid diethylamide. this movie is about people. it's about the human race from the primordial evolutionary spawn through the trials and tribulations of the dark ages all the way into the present. and it's also about very cool very weird friends making a very weird, very cool movie together. get into it.

    get into it

  • Very cool song+film. I was surprised by how disturbing certain parts of it were, actually. Overall, though, I loved it--I like the return to a sound reminiscent of "Here Comes The Indian".

I also feel some Fever Ray/The Knife love coming through on this track. :)

  • who ever you are moogoovoo i love you!!!!!

  • Amazing opening to a fucking amazing film.

  • Really dont even think about listening to this if you havent seen the film! DO NOT LISTEN!

Its the best piece of artwork I have ever seen in my life. Its one of those things you cannot put into words.

Also watch it really stoned your first time...

    ITS BEAUTIFUL!

  • @popthepoop1 i felt stupid watching oddsac it was the dumbest thing ive ever watched guys in costumes running around pointlessly no real content ...music was shit ....and believe me i love experimental electronica and all kinds of electronic music but most of time the music in the movie was complete shit blur, only posers and hipsters can acctualy say that its ART its fuckin garbage!

  • @RckDtar

WHAT THE FUCK IS A HIPSTER

i have yet to see one its a stupid fucking non existent stereotype that retards like you keep throwing around i see it in every fucking video

its not supposed to have a story line its a visual album not a movie

    visuals to accompany the music

anything is a form of art theres no guidelines as to what is art

you may not percieve it as art

whatever its not ur cup of tea thats all

  • @BRADANDKALEB

    Hipsteeerrrr!

  • @AWM05 once again

i have zero idea what a hipster is

i can only assume it is one of those people that wear glasses that they dont need and plaid overshirts

    and shitty hats

i dont do any of that im a regular dude

  • @BRADANDKALEB i agree with you. the media has thrown together 'the hipster' as a stereotype of many different groups of creative people resulting in some sort of rediculous 'arty' hybrid which doesn't resemble anyone.

  • @RckDtar : "experimental electronica" "Datsik"

    "experimental" "Datsik" Lmao

  • @Chocolatmenthe flylo,dorianconcept,dimlite,Hudsonmo,prisma,nujabes,rjd2,baths..................

  • god this song is SO good. i love the rhythmic voices with the drums at the end, and then the way it bleeds into the next song. brilliant.

  • when the drums kick in at 4:20, its fucking unreal! the album and the video were amazing, BRAP

  • is deakin singing?

  • @setht246 its avey with his vocals affected...i think the whole songs is down pitched actually. the vocals definitely are at least.

  • i feel my heart pumping, i feel my bladder...doing whatever it does, i feel my liver cleaning the shit in my body. i feel my saliva down my throat, i feel my toes support each other with my heel keeping them down from the back. i feel my knees locked, my back arched, my hair tickling the back of my ears. i feel my toungue inbetween my teeth, my bruise right above my elbow, i fell my lungs expanding just to quickly deflate. i feel myself, and its great to feel myself working.

  • oddsac was like a mixture of all their albums put together. it was one of the most terrifyingly beautiful things i have seen in a whiiiile. almost got sick watching it! LOVE THAT.

  • opening chords from Koyaanisqatsi by Philip Glass anyone???

  • i'm trying not to listen until i watch it! i'm being teased so much; i'll indulge for 30 seconds and stop because i realize that i must wait.

  • Fire.....

  • all im gonna say is....down there is gonna be amazing

  • I really fucking love the film! I went to the L.A screening. It was amazing! I can't wait to see it again! I swear when I hear this, the scene just pops into my head

  • this is soo good . i can not wait to get the film

  • wheres "kindle song?"

  • are you going to upload the rest of the audio?

  • watch the movie, this song/scene is epic in the movie, but pretty lacking without the visuals

  • Sound is fantastic, the Visual is mind blowing.

  • Loved this song from the movie. I also like how it can stand on its own though.

  • Hey I saw this at the live screening, THAT WAS THE ONLY EXPERIENCE!!!! xD

  • the singing sounds joy division influenced, anyone else agree?

  • Favorite song on the visual album

  • can i see this in theatres still or do i have to buy the dvd?

  • they should have saved this scene for the end of the film, it was the best

  • @xjelloxcorex agreed, they should have flip flopped the first and last songs, this would be an epic ending. This and tantrum barb are my favorits

  • I just watched ODDSAC. It was bizarre. I highly recommend it.

  • i have had this song in my head for months, and it is just as great as i remember

  • i havent ssen the film but i think this shit is amazing...kinda reminds me of the slightly more organic stuff they were makin a few albums ago.

  • @HIbradley27 yeah, i know some of the stuff for the film was written five years ago or so but i hope their next album is more like the score from the film. merriweather just didn't do it for me.

  • @HIbradley27 you must watch the movie it is amazing

  • @HIbradley27 I LOVE that "organic" sound you hear on Feels- every time those stacks of guitar samples start building or the shakes and shivers of "natural" sounding percussion, etc. jump in, it makes me wanna dance like crazy.

  • Man listening to this song again after 4 months is just amazing, but not as good as when I first watched it!!!, ahh i will never forget that day! This song is probably my favourite, It's definitely trippy, as for this whole visual album!

  • don't cheat yourselves people... you're only getting half of the experience if you're just listening to the audio.

  • @idontseeitthatway I'd say you're getting LESS than half of the experience due to synergy.

  • @idontseeitthatway soooooo truuuuuuue

  • @idontseeitthatway very very true

  • did these songs come off the movie disk? the quality is really good.

  • i got chills both when i saw, and heard this for teh first time. Im very impressed, at this video being four years in teh making.

  • For a second, the visuals and audio were putting me into a psychedelic trip. Great work Animal Collective.

  • hell yes. this was the best scene in the movie in my opinion.

  • @hellolingling123 I agreee

  • 2:40 onward greats

  • Love it. :)

  • :-)

  • this is much better with visuals
