His music is really good considering its mainstream pop, he tries to do something different which is always good (though his recent stuff is nowhere near as good as his earlier stuff).

From the ashes of development hell. Back in 1993 they envisioned this as a vehicle for Jason Scott Lee as Kato and Greg Kinnear as Hornet, in the wake of his star making turn in Dragon:TBLS. To have a credible actor who played Bruce Lee would have aptly done justice to the character and legacy. But to have this clown Chou blaspheming Bruce Lee's footsteps is a disgrace and insult. Stephen Chow and Kwon Sangwoo at least had the skills and physique. This Jay Chou looks like he wears skirts.
Many famous Asian actors auditioned for this part, including some well-known handsome Koreans. But Jay was selected because he is Bruce Lee's big fan (just to show some repect to the legend.) and because the director thinks Jay is "COOL".
Jay doesn't wear skirts...go listent to his song "Numchuck", then you will see why Jay is the perfect cast for Kato.

This is cool, however, this trailer makes The green Hornet more like the side-kick then the main hero. I could be wrong about the movie cause It isnt out yet, but when it dose, I am definatly going to go see it. Thanks for posting.

I'm unhappy with Rogen as GH. If you read my post and considered Jason Scott Lee and Greg Kinnear in their prime, you'd understand. BTW, Chou's huge in Taiwan, not Asia. He's no Andy Lau either. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Words can not insult anyone unless we allow them to. Jay is not just huge in Taiwan. He's huge in Asia. His upcoming concerts all sold out in Hong Kong and Singapore, not to mention the mainland ones. Let's see 42 concerts coming up? Geez, who can beat that. Andy??

@otto360 , I don't like the comedic tone given to The Green Hornet but modern day ppl might like it. On my own personal opinion this is Seth Rogen playing himself as the nerd-geek character we are used to seeing w/ a Green Mask. Trailers always have a lot of action to attrack audiences but the whole movie could be a total failure. Remember,"Jonah Hex"?. Anyways,This movie has copied some tones from Spiderman,remember the uncle?. "With great power,comes great responsibility".

Could this look any lamer...I swear Hollywood needs to chill on the whole super hero thing--meaning: NOT EVERY FUCK"IN superhero needs to be on the big screen. I don't care who they cast, this just plain looks so stupid. I am calling it right here, this movie will flop no doubt--out on Blu-ray inside of 2-3months from it's premier.

From the ashes of development hell. Back in 1993 they envisioned this as a vehicle for Jason Scott Lee as Kato and Greg Kinnear as Hornet, in the wake of his star making turn in Dragon:TBLS. To have a credible actor who played Bruce Lee would have aptly done justice to the character and legacy. But to have this clown Chou blaspheming Bruce Lee's footsteps is a disgrace and insult. Stephen Chow and Kwon Sangwoo at least had the skills and physique. This Jay Chou looks like he wears skirts.

Many famous Asian actors auditioned for this part, including some well-known handsome Koreans. But Jay was selected because he is Bruce Lee's big fan (just to show some repect to the legend.) and because the director thinks Jay is "COOL".
Jay doesn't wear skirts...go listent to his song "Numchuck", then you will see why Jay is the perfect cast for Kato.

@jalepeno42 I know who auditioned. Kwon Sang Woo and Steven Chow would have been decent leads given their skills and physique. Jay Chou is too soft and effeminate looking to play Kato, the brawn and brains behind the GH duo. As for Nunchuck, he looks like a 7 y.o. inspired by a TMNT marathon. Chou's a clown and (who isn't a big BL fan these days?) a DISGRACE to Bruce Lee's legend... Just admit it!
