I just got it today. I LOVE it. equal most impressive purchase iv made for the ps3 so far, equal with gta 4.

I did notice some pretty ugly element to some of the character textures when up close though, im not sure if its just ps3 or xbox has it aswell. it seems like where there is supposed to be shading its really jaggy its hard to explain. from screen shots iv seen on the next i never noticed it so it might just be ps3 can anyone confirm this either way ?

It has its own atmosphere and for that atmosphere these sort of graphics required which they used in this. These are kinda toon characters. Its for the fans. I remember playing this game in childhood on Sega and on arcads so its a chance to relive memories guys.

3d fighters just don't feel right: they often tend to lose a lot of game play elements when they go 3D. This game came out in Japan and the fans were not all that happy with it. So they went back and fixed things. Fans complained; the game didnt feel like a 'SF' game. There are some things that should and always be 2D!!

first off Street Fighter II is one of the greatest classic 2d fighters of all time. And if they stick to the classic style and gameplay with the same characters as expected, they have nothing to worry about. just look at it as Enhancing a classic. Just like Bionic Commando for the nes (an AMAZING game ) now Rearmed for the 360 is the same game, just enhanced with better graphics and a few upgrades to artillery. Plus if you dont like it, just dont buy it.

balrog, and sagat seem to be the only bosses that are in the game, thus far. as for the rest, everyone's there minus vega, m bison, and akuma(what where they thinking!?) even though i'm not a big vega fan, i wouldn't mind if he were in the game, but oh well. the game takes place in between 2 and 3 so maybe vega was killed, or just didn't enter the tournament.
