Stop motion takes a long time. When they make Wallace and Gromit films, they usually shoot about two seconds a day (much more detail than you are incorporating, though), so your pace seems quite speedy (too fast perhaps?). Additionally, you are shooting it digitally, so you can actually see what you have shot as opposed to sending film away for processing and viewing it later. It is heart-breaker to get stop motion animation back and find that you have screwed up and must reset/reshoot.
