This is bloody fantastic - especially for a live recording. The drums sound heavy, but that's not the drummers fault - it's nearly impossible to get a perfect mix off a live recording, especially outdoors! These guys sound great! Excellent horn section. Excellent.
I don't know what it sounded like out front, but in this recording, it sounds like they lost a little of the craftiness of the drum part - a little heavy. That said, I sure couldn't play it this well.
