@HBOkidofThe80s yeh but all he fuckin cared about was americans. after all the sweat and blood his allies put into the war, all he did was make disparaging remarks towards them and never issued any vote of confidence toward them...its not like they needed his approval. but he was very disresctful to his allies. america can claim victory more through industiral might than anything else. of course other allies could not compete with that, but none lacked fighting spirit.
@HBOkidofThe80s So if ur not American, but ur country was in the war on the side of the allies...its really hard to look back fondly on him. in the end, he was a good, brave and aggressive general. perfect for conventional warfare...i think he would have been inneffective in Vietnam (Especially since he was a tanker and Vietnam could not be won with tanks, do the terrain) He would have been fine for Korea and the entry was into Iraq, but against the insurgencies, he would be undone.
