  • Holly Marie noooo way Joyce cooling looks waaaay better than her by far they look nothing alike at all Joyce cooling have beautiful bone structure her face is really pretty too she reminds me of Sandra bullock and a little of the lady from the nanny but she also looks exotic and very natural Joyce looks like Joyce cooling!

  • Thanks to Enak12345 and gazric for your comments!

  • Summary: I discovered Joyce Cooling on Pandora Radio recently. I enjoy the bright optimistic compositions made up of multiple percussive instruments, rich tasteful piano, a hustling bass line and of course the bright tones and simpler melody of the guitar....very nice compositional work, like you say: "to dance to or trance to". It will be interesting to hear the results that come out of your music studies this year. All the best!

  • Global Cooling: guitar rides on top of multi-layer high and low drum beats, piano displays tasteful touches hinting of rich harmony...I like.

Save this Dance for Me: moody scale, melody noir...I like.

Chit Chat: vocal light, not much body to voice, vocal melody stiff...sorry, I don't like.

  • Grass Roots: big intro, moving bass line, prime guitar tones mesh with rhythmic harmony...I like.

  • Just discovered this...sorry I took so long...but you have to open a lot of oysters before you find a pearl!

  • Hi William, thanks so much for your comments. It's never too late too late. On behalf of Joyce and all of us at Group2, so glad you enjoy their music.

  • I've never encountered an artist who actually asked for the public's opinion like this..it's really cool, and admirable. I know I'm about a couple of years too late(literally), but I liked the album. Keep jammin.

  • your music makes my soul feel as if it could fly , i get lost in the beauty............

  • everything you do or say is golden

  • You are the "Best" female guitarist I've ever heard. I wish I could play like you but there should only be one greatness.. and that's you. Love you heaps... xxx and yes love all the tracks...

  • My favo. track no.3

  • cool cooling. Nice tone on the guitar. And yes, screw the industry...bypass the labels, pay for everything yourself, and then collect all the dough yourself. Don't sell out. Keep rocking out on the guitar. I especially liked track #2, it had a nice vibe that reminded me of Donald Fagens IGY.

  • you are like a maserati, god bless you !

  • 1.Global Cooling &

    2. Grass Roots are almost equal..

but, I love where Global Cooling takes you.."like a fresh breeze.."

    3. "Save this Dance" is great as a link in a series of songs..

    4. Chit Chat - sounds like a pick up the pace.. not sure if that is a starter or 3/4 thru..

Every Song you do stands out & is incredible..

you go guitar girl.. Love your tunes!

  • Oh Joyce! You keep belting out music that goes straight to my heart. Your style is superb! Love the Brazil inside you, sweet woman!

  • Joyce, there is a great YouTube video of you and your superb band playying "Callie" live in San Jose. The live version gives it the full 7 wonderful minutes that the song richly deserves. I would consider doing a CD, or even better, a DVD of a live concert for all your fans and giving some of your favorite songs the same extended playtime treatment...... thumbs up from everyone who agrees......

  • I love all your music Joyce!~~! I got the chance to hear you live once in Albuquerque... I fell in love with your music then and I have a lot of your music now. Take care and never stop playing that guitar!! ((HUGS!!))

  • I like my jazz without vocals too. But once in a while, a "voice" comes along that really hits me. Yours is one of those voices. And your guitar work is absolutely outstanding. Keep up the good work. Maybe I can catch you in concert one of these days.

  • You've got a great voice, but I like my jazz without vocals. I would vote for the title track. I appreciate the talent of mainstream jazz, but I can't handle listening to it for more than a few songs. But the "smooth jazz" guitar and sax I have discovered lately if refreshing and enjoyable.

When it comes down to it, it doesn't matter how fast you can play or how technically proficient you are. If it doesn't sound good it doesn't matter. You are one of my favorites because you do sound good.

  • Thank you so much for your comments.

  • Is it true Joyce owns a small peanut farm a few miles east of Cape Town, South Africa?

  • No, not this Joyce Cooling.

  • This CD shows her good features as a great artist. Her soft electric guitar sound really goes well with the simple melody like "Grass Root". She also plays acoustic guitar in a kind atmosphere in the "Global Cooling". Her octave playing has people feel safe in "Save This Dance for Me". She always puts some vocal numbers in her CD, and this is also very sweet, "Chit Chat". Thank you, Joyce. I've been a big fan of Joyce for many years. But unfortunately it's not available in my country.

  • Nice but not as the rest

  • very inspiring, dreamlike style. Brava

  • It's so fantastic the style you play. your fan

  • SOoooooo sexy......Track 4 Photo's...Beautiful pose at 03:02......! Oh I forgot yo mention that the music samples are great ! I decided to purchase your new release ..:)

  • amazing songs

  • at 2:10 Joyce Cooling Looks like Holly Marie Combs No Joke.

  • Global Cooling.

I'm a very fantasy minded person and the track invokes feelings of a garnd adventure which may or may not have been your intention. The acoustic static and warm strings touch the soul and your(always impressive)electric guitar work fill the body with desire to move.

That's why we love you.You get us.

  • the music you play is beyond picking favs, i really dig global cooling, but soon I believe i'll dig them all, that's what your music does. I can groove all day just listening to your tracks, in fact they're always playing, i've got my joyce cooling covered on all my playlist, great music..thanks

  • i hope you have all of joyce's music!! she deserves the best promotion of all time!

  • yes joyce has become my favorite over the years..

  • Wow, hard to pick. If I had to pick a radio single, I would be hard pressed to decide between Grass Roots and Global Cooling.
