I don't think you realize the phenomenon that is Jedward. Firstly, it is not that they can't sing, it's just that they don't have the standard singing that you would expect from your average recording artist. So a lot of people miss the point. You see, you have just made an entire video dedicated to Jedward. A ton of haters just spent 3 minutes watching a video about someone they hate. The only way to stop someone like Jedward is to ignore them. But you can't can you? That's just Jedward =:)

Yes perhaps the dieing line was a little harsh, but I didn't think 'I don't like you very much, but please go on releasing records' really had the same impact. Also it didn't rhyme as well.
I'm not really claiming to be able to sing better than them (in fact I'd go so far as to say the singing in this video is awful). But I would say they definitely can't (it's amazing what some tight editing and autotune can achieve!). I'd happily challenge them to a singoff. If not with me then maybe with the neighbour's cat. It's really cute, and I think it could take them.

Sadly I think you're right, Jedward have received rather a lot of criticism for being both untalented and nothing more than a gimmicy comodity of a money-led corporate music industry, although it quickly seems to be turning to apathy so I don't think you'll need to worry yourself too much! :)

@HEISNOTANALIEN you're right, it's very over the top, but hopefully most people will see that it's meant in quite a tounge-in-cheek way. It's a pastiche after all, and I don't think it would have worked artistically if the lyrical content had been toned down.
Don't get too upset dude... Jedward will come and go.. and so will I ;) Life goes on.. there's more important stuff to care about and most things aren't so bad after all!

I'm not really claiming to be able to sing better than them (in fact I'd go so far as to say the singing in this video is awful). But I would say they definitely can't (it's amazing what some tight editing and autotune can achieve!). I'd happily challenge them to a singoff. If not with me then maybe with the neighbour's cat. It's really cute, and I think it could take them.
