People, when you look at several features, it's a lot like TF2, and yes, they did steal some ideas, but the gameplay is completely different, and nevertheless, the korean developers put lots of effort into this and came out with a great shooter. If you want some similarities other than the ones in the video, the sniper scope has same distortion effect, different weapons have different taunts, people can be blown up (into pieces), there's more but I'm running out of space, but it's not a ripoff.

There are no classes and in the most popular version of the game, there is no bat;

Anyone can be a sniper and it's not like TF2 invented the sniper. And, again, there are no classes in HAVE;

There are more than one minigun models and not even the one in the trailer looks like Heavy's;

There is no rocket jump;

Grenades in the actual game have a different model than that in the trailer;

It's just that character (with that particular outfit) that has one eye. And again, no classes.

Individually the similarities aren't a problem, having so many at the same time is defiantly straying into infringement territory. It's like they grabbed the game and just changed the character models.

the resemblence is definitely unmistakeable, but it's a bit of a stretch to call it a complete ripoff. sure team structure and class loadout is similar, but then, it's a class based arcade shooter, there isn't much deviation to find outside of the team fortress classes... I wouldn't write it off, I might even play it, it definitely has a different art style. I mean, I have to say it. just because a shooter plays like another shooter does does not make it a copycat.

@goatgoat well theres a fair bit of speculation. seeing the videos side by side, you have -similar- action scenes, but when you put something like this up, the classes are very similar, the action is very similar, so big action scenes will overlap. intentional or not, the few part of it that do look -like- the trailers are spots that you could see in a million other videos. it's like calling a duck a goose because they both swim, or a bat a bird, so on and so forth

Its definitely inspired by TF2. There are quite a few clips that look exactly alike, as well as the same weapons. Ill reserve judgement until after I see gameplay though.
