its steam game u first have to downloadd steam and when ur there u have to buy it by using steam. but nobody play this game anymore so i think u should buy day of defeat source. (steam games cannot be received free from anywhere)

Darkville. lot of ppl like Dod 1,3 more than dods. dods is a fun game. and 1,3 is REALISM

DODS is more realistic. u dont have to wait for the Deploy MG symbol to pop up. just go to any ledge or whatever thingy thats deployable. then, if its a ledge or table, even if its shorter than needed, ur character will crouch down a little to make up. if even or i prone, then normal. and u can deploy iron sights. which is realistic. and u shoot, the helmet comes off. and DoDS makes use of the laws of Physics. The satchels are planted more realisticly also. they plant it in 3 seconds or so.

dods is plain just not fun, i have more fun anyday in 1.3 than source. source is good on certain maps, but is more eyecandy than anything else imo.

Bear in mind, DoD:S was the first Source game ever. It was meant to show off the eyecandy.

Actually the First Source Game ever was Half Life 2. DOD:S was released on source engine 2 also known as the Orange Box engine, I'm well aware of the Source Engine. I love the source engine its freakin sweet and very versatile.

It came out in 2005, so it was there since the old Source Engine was around.
