  • I wanna be like her when I get younger. -,.-

  • His son is one of the best skaters i've ever seen, and his daughter is one of the best violinists i've ever heard!! These kids are incredible!!

  • I'm jealous at her ability to play with so much emotion :P

  • well played but in 20 years she wont have anything to tell from her childhood.... very sad

  • @mrQ3ST Ok, maybe to you youth means drinking alcohol, fucking your brain out of your head and doing any shit you think of. thank god there is this 1% of humanity in this world which doesn't think so and cares about other things.

  • @PsanterShelZahav yes i do. as long as i can :D you dont really think she decided to play violin? at this age its all about the parents thats the fucked up thing about it all look at maxim vengerov he was forced to practice the whole day and now he retires from the violin. you should have a real life as a child seriously

  • @mrQ3ST i decideded to learn the violin at the age of five! NEVER i would give up this

  • @PsanterShelZahav yes but i guess you've got a real life dont you? im playing the violin since im 6 and i love it BUT i had and im still having a good colourfull life i hope you understand what im trying to say

  • @mrQ3ST no, I don't understand! music is my life, i've got many friends, where is the problem? this IS a colourful life!

  • @PsanterShelZahav man you really dont get it. this kid like all the other talented 4 year old asians playing mendelssohn are getting forced to practice the whole day. now i guess you practice 4 hours per week so you have enough time for things you can enjoy but even if you love music you sometimes need a few hours or a day off. and thats what im telling you right now

  • @mrQ3ST I think YOU don't get it, i was practicing 4 hours and more a day, I had enough time for other things!

  • @PsanterShelZahav other things = breathing, masturbating, eating, sleeping

  • @mrQ3ST not all kids are forced to practice... -_- you're discrediting the kids who actually have a passion for music.

  • @viola2738 youre right. but some are, and thats the point you dont get. look at the sidebar tons of "kids" you could also say babys play violin at the age of 3 or 2 i mean wtf they dont even get the chance of choosing

  • who would dislike this stuffff?!?!?! I'm 12 and I'm not as good as she issss!

  • OH MY GOD she is good!!!!!!!And she is eight years old!

  • Amazing performance, especially at the age of 8. Some of her notes are just a little bit off.

  • so beautiful....

  • WHY IS THERE ALWAYS PEOPLE COUGHING SOOOO LLLOOOUUUUUDDDDLLLLYYYYYYY???!!?!?!??!?!?!?? DURING A MASTER-PEROFRMANCE!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! WHY?!?!!WHY!?!?!?WHY!?!?!!it just ruins the whole effect of the beauty of the performances!!! why ane xtra unnecessary cough every time!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!!!

  • Holy she's great how long did she learn violin? i learned violin for 1 half years and i'm at like level 4! and she's like level 10 or something!

  • She has great phrasing in the Prelude. I'm particularly fond of the harmonic on the high B. Did she phrase this herself? Kudos to her if she did

  • She's doing fine, of course. I just don't like when teachers give this piece before students are really ready to play it. For me, it's a virtuoso piece, and doesn't sound good when played imperfectly. That's just my preference, though.

  • @yorymusic totally agree.

  • this is excellent for an 8 year old, but still. it just feels like it was notes on a page, and nothing else. She has the ability, to play well, but not the maturity to understand how to put enough into a piece.

it was still great, though. (:

  • @711eam Do you play the violin? Any instrument?

Because I disagree that it sounds like just notes on a page.

  • anyone who says she's not amazing must have pretty high expectations...:) Is she srsly only 8???????

  • I think she's good, but surely not brilliant (yet).

  • Can't imagine how her parents push her to do this. The kid needs therapy when she grows up.

I also want to be very honest because ultimately it's good for everyone: Listen kid's parents, if she is already 8 and plays like this, she is OK but will not make the cut to be a pro. Better release her from the daily tortue, I mean practice, let her enjoy life as a normal kid. I will get bad rap, but you will thank me someday.

  • @bergen747 no matter how much parents push their child, without talent, you cant be that good. she might just be very talented not her parents torturing her so dont asume that the parents of every kid thats really good at the violin is pushing them too hard.

  • @bergen747 That is a crude assumption you are making. You are saying she is good because her parents "torture" her to do so. That is usually not the case. Her parents must have some influence, either players themselves, or music lovers. Either way, she plays good because of good "influence", not because of "torture". You can't do something well if you don't want to, no matter what outside forces are applied.

On the video. Very nice playing! thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • great violin player. could improve in the sautellie and richochette part

  • One of the most emotional versions of this I've heard, and from such a little girl too!!! So much talent in such a small package. Bravo! :)

  • great!!her right hand movement is so soft!it's so hard for myself to do so soft

  • She looks relaxed when she plays....she must've practiced a LOT

  • verry verry good !!!!!!!

    MAGNIFIQUE.. !!!!!!

  • Actually I thought that some parts the piano made some parts feel choppy and did not do her justice. But then again, what do I know about music......you go girl! my cousin your age destroys her violin lol

  • I like her way of interpreting her piece. She made it her own way. Overall performance is 5 stars plus plus plus. keep it up

  • she is great especially for a 8 year old

but i think she could play with alittle more enthusiasum and it squeked a bit but other wise you were great especially slower and softer parts

  • HOLY craaaaaappp she's incredible.

  • hey! its dmitriy cogan :)

  • she's so cute. I think she is able to tell the story of this piece. 5 stars

  • I already love her. Though the allegro is really quite messy, her spiccato is great for her age. You don't see too many young musicians pulling spiccato with this piece. One can also hear emotion in the piece, although it's heard more in the Prelude and the beginning of the Allegro.

  • she does play with feelings. whoever says, she doesn't is simply blind and jealous. it's true. I'm an asian too and i play the violin too. i live in germany, though and i've been often associated with asian musicians who study in the conservatory of music in germany.there are more asian students studying there as germans or americans. and i tell you they are really really good. and i've seen too many. this girl is outstanding. she'll go far.

  • Awesome!

  • How old is she?

  • She is 8

  • Wow..... O_o!!!!! Very nice job, Young Lady!

  • oops

    spelled wang lang wrong

  • u think asians play like robots huh? how 'bout wang lung?

  • ( Not on my own account but had to comment )

I have a friend who usda have alot of lessions for both, piano, violinn, trumpet, trombone, and loads of others, he was pushed like hell to "do his best" and he was at this stage. but the thing is, he hated it, never happy. tallent was not a option for him beeing happy so he just gave up haha. Its not tallent if its pushed, you can just tell from her eyes, she isnt enthuseastic about this. she will grow up. be famous, be rich. but happyness. i doubt

  • What a stupid ignorant thing to say. Many of the finest musicians in the world come from asia. I suppose you expect everybody to pull silly faces like a rock guitarist when they play ?

  • u suppose wrong.I know many of the finest musicians come from asia,as i know that the last Paganini premium was won by a corean girl. but the feel is all in a concert, the feel is the most important thing for a musician.i sure don't expect everybody to pull silly faces like a guitarist(i hate those kind of musicians);i wanted to say that the asians play like robots,,,they have great thecnic but no feels..anyway I think this child will become a great musician..you r right, i wrote a stupid comment

  • I agree with Brian. Racist comments like yours do not belong here. I myself am KOREAN. Spell it right. You said your sorry, yet you still wrote something rude.

  • TECHNIQUE. She's young, you can't expect a young child to play like an adult. You don't have to pull weird faces to play passionately or move a lot. Saying "Asians play like robots" is just as stupid. Then trying to make things right by saying we're great musicians. But then you shoot yourself in the foot by saying we don't play with TECHNIQUE or with feeling. Just don't say anything next time.

  • wtf? aruge some where eles not here u retard

  • Hmm, Jealous much? You're mean and what you said is spiteful and pathetic. She's just a child. To play with much precision on the spiccato is amazing!

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaa...oooooo.aa it's fantastic and omg, very very very goooood
