it turns out even Mormons love this show, it doesn't tell any lies about Mormons and its very addictive, trey and matt could have screwed it up big time but instead they have THE broadway show of the decade. I never could have predicted this happening :D I want to see the show so bad because of the awesome music in it and I usually don't pay attention to musical theater

I've had professors say it was a cult on an academic level.  As the King James Bible and the Book of Mormon are not in line enough with protestant and catholic teachings of who Jesus is both metaphorically and what he stood for.
