@stancefashion im not famous, but i am relatively well known where i live. anyway I've been in a led zeppelin tribute band before as well as cover bands and original bands. I can assure you that the original bands have done better than the other bands. I'm sure if you asked slash he would say not to try and be him.. and act like him etc, he would say be yourself otherwise you wouldn't get anywhere. and btw slash isn't really a very good guitarist, not compared to hendrix, bonamassa or page.

@stancefashion just because I'm in a tribute band doesn't mean i act like jimmy page. i just play his songs in my way, and act how i act. All I'm saying is there is a difference between having inspiration and just copying someone, which I'm very sorry but thats what you are doing. I'm just giving you some advice that you won't get as far as you could do, your a very good guitar player, but your wasting your talent trying to be someone else.

so its a les paul standard 1995 WAS bright cherrysunburst

and it was refinished by freind of mine to vintage honeyburst

idk what the guy in the video is using, but the strap that slash uses is from a company called Red Monkey designs (its in LA) and the strap model is called 'slasher'
