  • In the beginning part you reminded me of macbarbie07 (bethany)

  • Hi! I really loved this video and it reminded me that I actually bought a crochet needles forever ago! I do want to ask, do you know how to make a shawl? I didn't know all of that about the soaking and drying crocheted scarves before this. Thank you!

  • I want to make that same shawl fringe, but in addition I would like the tassels, and maybe a bit thicker but shorter scarf

  • now i have an awesome gift or my best friend

  • Thank You!! i finally learned how to make my own scarf!! :D

  • How much yarn do I need for this? How many gramms? 100?

  • What is the temperature your water where you but the scarf?

  • you remind me of life of liz is it just me??????

  • I just made this(: it was the first time I have crocheted in my life and it's straight, not curvy!

  • your hair looks perfect in this video <3

  • @12346alana she said 70 to 80.

  • i ll start today itself.. :)

  • This was so helpful! I tried for hours earlier today to try to learn to crochet a scarf. The directions were exactly the same as your video, but actually seeing it done, instead of just a picture was great! Thanks so much. :)

  • This was such a great tutorial! I've tried to learn how to crochet so many times.. I'm a knitter but I'm going to try crocheting again!

  • I started to crotchet by watching this :) The tutorial was VERY helpful! thank you so much ^^

  • have u tryed to make amigrumi?

  • OMG looks soooooooooooooooooooooooo difficult !!

  • omg. THANK YOU!!! you taught me how to crochet lol. I've been looking at books/whatever and no one could ever teach me. Finally this video worked for me. I've been knitting for a while and I thought crocheting was hard cuz I couldn't do that second row. But now i'm about to make this scarf cuz I finally got the hang of it.

  • THIS WAS SO HELPFUL!

NOT CONFUSING! AT ALL!! YOU HAD THE BEST ANGLE!!!! :D

  • This was helpful. Not confusing at all :) im gonna try it. I love your DIY videos

  • ela112299 it's your opinion. You can have it however long u want. She even said!

  • I learned how to crochet when I was 8! Haha.

  • you are the BEST! You are so pretty, and you seem really nice! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE all of your crafts!

  • How long is the scarf? Please answer. I haven't even stopped and I think it's long.

  • @ela112299 A scarf, in length, is usually measured by your height. So if you are 5 feet tall, your scarf should also be 5 feet tall.

  • I am doing the scarf so far...I gotta say it looks pretty boss...(: thx for the idea.! ^_^

  • I LOVE what you're wearing! I think this scarf is a bit too time consuming for me and I already know how to crochet so I used double crochet and got it done on 3 hrs. I love to crochet. I did knitting and failed cause I lost track of the loops...

  • Gosh, you are so lucky! You are super nice and friendly, you are gorgeous! You are super creative, and I love your ideas! And the luckiest part, you have Anthony Padilla. You lucky butt. :)

  • How did anyone ever come up with this crochet thing? I guess there wasnt much else to do back in the day but still

  • For some reason I can't keep the sides of my scarf even. It starts out the size I want but ends up getting smaller. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

  • i like ur makeup :)

  • after watching this video my big problem solved i always use to do one mistake n it masses my whole project always .... i use to take only one loop on the second step where u too 2 loops together ..... thanks for sharing this v informative video ... loads of love..... thanks thanks n big thanks

  • you are so pretty !!

  • OMG thank you sooo much for posting a tutorial on how to do this i'm soo gonna do this and when I get the hang of this i'm gonna give some to my friends!

  • i know valentines day is not until next month but can you make a video of ideas of what the perfect and unique valentines gifts would be. i'm trying to do a fundraising for my club and we need ideas. so yeah. helppppp. thank you

  • what kind of camera do you use??

  • @3weeloobby I believe it is the Canon Rebel. The quality looks the same and the box in the back helps lol. Great camera!

  • @TheFifiShefilyn You should try Joanns or Michaels or even hobby lobby they always have large bundles for 1-2 dollars and sometimes it's even on sale :)

  • Thank you so much Kalel for posting this DIY video.

I made a infinity scarf to my mom for x'mas.

And it was my 1st time crocheting and doing it correctly.

I will make a video response to this video showing how to make an infinity scarf ( inspired by this video).

  • I'm working with the same brand/style of yarn right now making a skinny scarf, but mine is a brown, and I am knitting instead of crocheting. I have two other skeins though so I think I will try to crochet the purple one. I don't have a twitter, but I will show you a pic on FB if I do decide to. :)

  • More crochet diy tutorials please! This one was so helpful!

  • my size is an 8 omg

    /regrets

  • Ah thanks so much! I totally will try this. Your explanation is actually really good!

  • I'm trying it out right now... You explanation is great... I just think I've too big hands for this x)... Thanks xx

  • did you make the skirt you wore? if so, can you make a tutorial on how you made it? it's adorable!

  • Wait, what?

  • Ah. I am currently making one for my mom and dad. Me and my mom have been doing so much stuff this past week for X-mas, so I haven't really gotten the chance to finish my moms and start on my dad's. So now I am stuck with finishing my mom's and all of my dad's on Christmas Eve. . . And being a beginnner crocheter doesn't really help either. Thanks for the tutorial! xP

  • Lovin it

  • thanks for teaching me how to crochet im doing it right now and its really cute

  • LOL "pull it through the little loopy thing" xD You make me laugh

  • I have successfully finished my scarf all from this video! thanks!

  • I tried to learn how to crochet from my grandma but, i failed. :(

  • i live in alaska haha. it's always cold. if you don't know how to knit/crochet you're weird.

  • OMG, i love crocheting !! cant wait to try this out and give them as gifts... =) thanks for this vid !

  • Hey Kalel! Just wondering, where did you get your shirt and skirt? They are both adorable and coincidentally, I have actually been looking for a skirt and blouse like that for a long time. Thanks, love you! :) Bye!

  • do a tutorial on ur hair and make-up

  • Awesome tutorial

  • im still working on mine (im a procrastinator) but its so much fun! thanks for the idea!

  • Did you use that much yarn to make your whole scarf? Or were there any yarn left when you reached the length you wanted? Because I want a long scarf, just like yours, but I don't think any shop in here sells THAT much yarn in one pack.

  • you explained it amazingly! seriously i never got it when my grandma attempted to teach me...

  • where i live we dont even get 70 to 80 in the summer

  • Crochet lingo :)

  • thank you :) this was so easy to learn!!x

  • i love your hair :)

  • yeah i can't get the hard part, took me a while just to get the knot :/

  • Aaah it's fate :) I haven't crotchet in years and I've been wanting to pick it up again (cheap christmas presents from a broke college kid haha). This is the perfect reminder tutorial of how to do it :)

  • @danceforlife123456 Mee to :") I love it :D

  • i a bit discouraged and im not even up to the hard part :(

  • Is crocheting faster than knitting?

  • I CAN"T DO IT!!!! :'(

  • this is an amazing gift idea! I definitely want to start crocheting now (:

  • Where does she live?

  • I'm so confused when u start the third row. You only say two things and do like 5 different things.

  • You inspired me to learn how to crochet! I started my first scarf today! It was a little rough at first, but I think I've got the hang of it now! Thanks!!!!

  • Your hair and make-up is gorgeous in this!! Tutorial? :D

  • i learned this in elementary school so its really easy for me to relearn it (:

  • you explained it sooo good!!

  • i'm gioing to try this in the holiday hope it works <3

  • I could not figure this out :'( I get frustrated easily and super freaking negative. I officially gave up.

  • @positivelyful it took me a few times before I officially could do it, but stick at it! it's worth it :) x

i really want to try to make a scarf:)

  • you got me totally kookrd with crochet

  • I love this video! I made one right away... but I made the mistake of throwing it in the dryer...ops. So now it's a very skinny scarf lol I love the skirt you are wearing in this video too! I've looked everywhere but I can't find anything like it :(

  • thanks kalel!! this is an awesome DIY video! after I saw this I went on ebay and bought a crochet hook I'm so excited to try this out can't wait haha

  • BTW...you look great with curls!

  • Thank you so much for uploading this video, I have finally gotten it! I knit a lot, but I have never been able to crochet past the initial chain. For some reason no matter how many crochet videos I tried to follow, all the experts failed to do what you did. You took it slow, added encouragement, and gave us a simple and cute pattern. It was as if you understood what it was like to be a beginner. Thank you so much for the tutorial (I've made tons). I'd love to see more DIY videos from you!

  • You look like a doll Kalel. You look so good with curls.

  • Do you have a makeup tutorial on the make up in this video

    ????

  • I failed so hard on that second row.

    OMG hahaa:)

  • I will try

  • I know how crochet better now thanks

  • I'm a pretty experienced crocheter for a teenage girl, and I've seen TONS of crocheting videos - this was one of the best. I really hope that you do more because this is great. The way you explained it would be super easy for a beginner to learn. I hope you do a couple more of these :)

  • omg i finally learned how to do it! thanks!

  • I was so frustrated because I couldn't think of what to get or my boyfriend, but I remembered how he said something about how cold it gets when he takes breaks outside. I think I'm going to make him a scarf! and if all fails I'll buy him shoes lol.

    Wish me luck!! :D

  • are you Rosellinia from the Naked Brother's Band?? lol

  • Thanks for the video :) turns out the way i was crocheting off and on all these years was so much more difficult because this is sooooo much easier! thanks again :)

  • really really cute outfit!

  • I'm making one nowww =)

Mom did the second row x.x

    I got so confused

    but yea....it's great!!!! =D

    Thank youu :)

  • Yay! I'm making one right now! It is going great too! In probably on like the eighth row! Thanks so much kalel!! :)

  • I love your hair color! It's gorgeous:)

  • Did it take all the yarn you bought to make one scarf? Also where did you buy the needle?

  • @12abbylane i got mine from walmart (:

  • Yay!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!! The thing is, im really kind of confused on the second row?

And YAAAAYY! i think im going to like your vlogs :D

  • that second row is a bitch.. haha

  • My scarf is not straight! It's getting wavy-er and wavy-er :/ Please help!

  • Wow! You made it seem quite easy!

I definitely wanna try this soon!

  • I LOVEEEEE your DIY tutorials please keep them up!

  • that was a great tutorial i know how to do this now :D

  • I don't know if you've answered this yet, but how many packages of yarn did this take? :)

  • @adhdposterchild9 that was unnecessary

  • whenever i try to make mine, I cant keep the sides even (like my scarf doesnt look rectangular.. )

    do you have any tips?

  • I know how to knit but i never learned to crochet, and you made it look so easy that i went out and got the stuff and i'm starting on the scarf now ;D

  • Honestly this is REALLY pissing me off, I CAN NOT TIE A STUPID SLIPKNOT !

  • How do you do the slipnot.......

  • ANTHONYS GIRLFRIEND

  • I have a question for Kalel or anyone else who can possibly answer this. I plan on doing this exact same thing myself, but with Zebra yarn instead. Would that be a bad idea or should I just stick with a plain color??

  • @StacixXxFreaxXxShow go for it! I don't crochet, I've always knitted.. but the fun is using all sorts of fun colors and patterns and mixing it up.. The results won't be horrible, I promise.

  • hair tutorial, please? ;)

  • I like brown hair on you but I miss your blonde it suited you.

  • Wow this is great because my grandma who lives a mile away has yarn in like every color! And she knits so she can probably give me an idea, this is great.

  • that lookt easy thnx

  • @ShilohOMG thanks :)

  • @ShilohOMG Samesame! :D <3

  • Okay seriously. You don't have the camera on you're hands for most of the time. It doesn't help me learn when I just see you're face looking down at you're hands that I don't see.

  • I'm kinda glad I already knew how to croshay or however it's spelled. This is pretty easy. c:

  • can you do a tutorial on how to crochet a flower for the scarf??? i made the scarf but i feel like it needs something other than the little frilly thingies.... :)

  • UGH it would be better if you focused the camera on the yarn all the time instead of yourself

  • Wait so do you do the double crochet then 2 single crochets and then repeat?

  • this is hard,,it keeps looking different.

  • I went out and bought the color yarn I wanted, and then watched this video and we ironically got the same color! Hahaha, I can't wait to try it out!

  • im trying it now :D

  • omg this is so cute my sisters and i have a crochet busniss cheack it out on esty .com it is called unravled tresurezi think youll like it :)

  • wow you videos are so well edited. amazing :)

  • How long did you make yours? Like how many rows was yours ?

  • @msAll28 10 chains wide... probably 100 or so rows long? Really not sure.

  • Im in the process of making a scarf but each row keeps getting smaller and smaller, im not really sure what im doing wrong but if someone could tell me and help me out it would be greatly appreciated, i would really like to finish it.
