@SnatcherZone there are amy kinds of dandruff, it you dont get good results, I suggest you go see a dermatologist instead of spending on ineffective store solutions that do not work for your case.

This is what I think. There is no cure for Dandruff, there are only things that will calm it at the time. There is no cure for someone being ashy but there is lotion that will calm it. You could get ashy again and you could get Dandruff again. If there is a cure for Dandruff (which only the government would know about), then they wouldn't keep coming out with new Dandruff shampoo's. They just want our money. There is no such thing as getting rid of dandruff forever, only temporary.

I tend to shave all my hair off before using it so I don't have to use as much, and so it doesn't leave a mess. Your stuff helps better than the store bought stuff. I had dandruff for about 7 years. All of a sudden I don't. You be the judge. It took me 2 weeks to beat dandruff. I eliminated pastry from my diet. I believe dandruff shampoos treat only the symptoms.. I don't use dandruff shampoo anymore. It is incredible. Now I eat hemp cereal, honey, apple sauce instead of pastry. It was so bad that I thought I had seborrhea.

@hoboninjas That oil is skin oil, which is different than Olive oil or any of the oils used here. A large cause of dandruff is temperature and weather, not to mention if your skin is dry or not. The oils mentioned here are actually good for re-hydrating the skin which is why some oils such as palm oils are used in lotions to keep them moisturized and to keep them from flaking.

After trying out the Tea tree Oil with Head and Shoulder Shampoo,I was a bit disappointed. It didn't clear all my dandruff. So now i'm going to try the Lime Juice and vinegar mix.

Here are some question for the treatment:

Can I use Lemon instead of Lime?

its working good... its an awesome remedy... but i didnt use the yolk present in the egg... we can expect best resutls too with out using it... it smells odd... i used only 1tspoon of gycerin,almond oil,coconut oil and vinegar.. take a tspoon of almond oil and massage on ur head. it nourishes and strengthens ur hair roots...

@2561601ms I used Bertolli's Extra Virgin Olive Oil, but I have used other brands before, so if you use a few tablespoons of the one you use for your salads you should be fine, make sure you include it in your diet too (2 spoons per day is fine) it is a healthy key ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine, about the tea tree oil, I got the one they have at target, it's called "Origin Tea Tree Oil" that one worked well for me. @IampureSol because this mixture involves lemon/lime juice & vinegar, I would say once every 3-5 months because of the acidic level on your hair....if you want to use a homemade shampoo, try black soap...you can use it either from the bar of soap itself or in a liquid form...not really "homemade" per say, but it's good on the hair =)
