Thats not true at all. Tigers fight less but die more often because they dont have backup or help from the pride. they usually starve to death because they have no one to hunt for them after an injury. Lions dont have to worry about that. Lions produce more testosterone. Testosterone enhances muscle growth. Lions can also fight with 2 paws, just watch lion fights. Just not as well, but thats not a problem.

I dont care. It takes atleast 3 lions to take down a buffalo so what? tigers may hunt solitary but the bulk of their diet is deer/antelope and wild boar. Wild cattle are killed very rarely, usually the young ones. Adult wild cattle being killed by tigers is close to unheard of, since a tiger doesnt NEED to kill an animal that big.

Why bother with a water buffalo when there are stories of Tigers hunting down and killing the much larger "Gaurs" which is the biggest wild cattle species(way bigger than water buffalo and looks like water buffalos on roids). The biggest Gaur seen in the wild by George Schaller in 1964 was killed by a bengal tiger. Tigers are the only animals known to have hunted Gaurs. Just a few mins back I had been watching this vid of this Bengal tiger 'Machli' killing a Gaur and then dragging its carcass.
