  • I remember it from 1965, so the recording is at least that old. I was at Butlins in Minehead and it was piped into the bedroom every morning. I still recall the melody and the words, but this was the first time I have heard it in 46 years!

  • @nicoatridge Thanks for the comment - I'm glad it's brought back memories!

  • Nice!Too bad about your lTT with its duff speaker.Silly thing is l've probably got one that'd do,l think they're 16 Ohms from memory.

  • @AG3304 Hi! Yes it's 16 ohm 7"x4" speaker. I have tried quite a few places, including the Vintage Communicactions fair in May with no luck. I've got a drawer full of various old speakers but none of the correct size!

  • @pyestudiocolour l'll have a look and see if l have one like that. You never know!

  • @AG3304 Thank you, that is very kind of you indeed!

  • @pyestudiocolour l found one,but the dratted thing was only 3 ohms! Blast!

  • @AG3304 Oh well, thanks for looking - it's very much appreciated. I'm sure one will turn up sooner or later.

  • @pyestudiocolour No trouble,and l'll keep it in mind.

  • Oh that is FABULOUS!!

  • @sideshowtink Thanks - I'm glad that you enjoyed it!
