It wasn't for me. It far too chaotic for me and you can't build up any strategy since when your turn comes, everything has changed in a so drastic way that it feels like the game plays alone with the players being there only to move the pieces.

I like the fact they show how to play. So hopfully even if they do a quick review of games they will keep up on the how to play vids

Actually, I do appreciate the explanation of how the game is played when I look into a review of a board game. There aren't many opportunities for me to try a game out if I am interested in it other than trekking to a boardgame cafe downtown. I'd prefer knowing the mechanics of a game before I consider buying it or playing it.

I guess there's a couple of negative comments on the pacing of the video. I don't mind it. Maybe there should be a quick review for those with a short attention span, but I enjoy getting a detailed explanation of the game. I currently own it, and it also helps in clarifying the game after I've read the instructions. Thanks for the awesome video!

I have to agree with other reviewers. cut down on the banter and you won't be taking a road five miles long to get to a place one mile away. Go back and review what you said prior to posting your review . To be honest, two minutes into the actual review, I was really confused as to why I would even want to play it. Otherwise..... don't give up.

Personally if I look up a review I dont want to see an entire explanation of game mechanics. If the review is already split into 3 videos then why not do 1 review and a seperate game mechanics explanation for those who liked the sound of the review. Like seeing your actual review sections though, keep em coming.

@slugsmudge The review isn't "already split into 3 videos". The review is one video that had to be sliced into 3 videos in order to upload to Youtube. Thanks for the thoughts! I seem to get very mixed opinions when it comes to that subject.

Great series of videos! Fenomenal work. I just subscribed to you guys and I'm impatiently waiting for more to come.

And now a few comments that I hope you guys received well:

- The presentation of the game was great; but sometimes action was a bit off camera, and if possible, closer shots of the components or of the boards would have been great.

- The explanation of the mechanics was great. Could do better with a bit more of flow, but great overall.

I have just seen part 1 of this review - its very well done, i like the relaxed style and you obviously know your stuff, but why so long? I think i shorter, opinion led review is much better than 30mins slog through a game. You may be able to cover more games this way too? Keep up the playing/reviewing

Simply put, we haven't done many reviews yet. So pacing is still an issue. We have a lot to say, but not much time to say it in. It's something that we will be working on in the future episodes. Thanks for the opinions!

I love that you now have HD versions available, the quality is much bettter. So much better in fact that I finally noticed that Russel has a nose ring.
