Where did you get those masterballs???? I weakened articuno so it nearly didn't have any health left and than i tried some ultra balls but it always faild so i just killed articuno, hoping i could just get the fainted pokemon :s

@19noble94 You get one master ball, and a master ball never misses its target. However, you can catch articuno with ultra balls, but you'll need patience, a lot of ultra balls, and pokemon strong enough to survive a couple of ice beams ;) .. just try to paralyze it, or better, put it to sleep, and you'll be fine

@catlinmassier fly to viridian city, talk to the old man and when he asks if your in a hurry hit no. after he explains how to catch a weedle fly to fuschia, go south, surf south till you hit the border than go west to seafoam island. surf up and down the BEACH (dont go on the land, but right up against it) until you run into "M".. either kill it or run away. dont catch it. then look at your items you should have 9.

If you want Mewtwo easy, all you have to do is to type in the code "0183D8CF", find a random pokemon and use a ball to catch it. the pokeman you catch will be Mewtwo :)

Besides, I used my only Master Ball for Articuno, because I have the other birds and Mewtwo on my Chrystal - where I try to collect all of the existing pokémon that far :)

@Smil3Lik3YouMeanIt to get strength you must go to Fuchsia City. From there you must go into Safari zone and go to the last exit which is Area 3. Go south and you will find golden teeth. After getting that, you have to waste your time in there to get out. After that, go to the Warden's house which is near the poke center, south, the bottom-ish. Go in and talk to the man that stands. You will then get strength. To the right you will see a boulder which is blocking a Rare Candy. Hope this helped

@edddiux On route 16,go through the guard house, wake up the Snorlax with the Poké Flute and capture it (if you haven't done that yet) and look for the "Cut"-able bush on this passage. Get rid of it using the Cut technique and go through the top part of the guard house.You will find a small hut -- the secret retreat of a reclusive Pokémon trainer. As a reward for keeping her place secret, she gives you HM 02 - Fly. Btw, when using fly in battle, swift can also hit you. Hope this helped

@rynos7777-yes, you can catch it, you just have to go to ur pc, and click switch boxes, and change around some pokemon, then go catch it and it will work, that happened to me with mewtwo, but it is fixable.

if you use the master ball dont even worrying about hurting it at all, and if you do want to use the Master Ball on one of the birds it would be Articuno, if you teach it moves like Ice Beam, Blizzard, and Fly it will be really useful in the Pokemon League, especially againt Lance. the Dragon type trainer.

and comment on the pokemon collection - my gyarados is lvl.62 with hyperbeam, ice beam, surf, and hydro pump... and against any pokemon under lvl.50 the beams are auto kills. so for now hes my main pokemon for fights ^^

a lot of pokemon can learn strength including Himtonlee and Gyarados, but you probably don't want to teach it to Gyarados...and nice level 62 Gyarados by the way, I love the move set.

you can't catch a Gyarados in this game, you will have to evolve a Magikarp, Magikarp isn't hard to find at all, get an Old Rod in Vermillion City and you can fish anywhere and you'll find a Magikarp. train it to level 20 and you have a Gyarados.
