It's jsut an old band of tim's that happened to have 2 members that were at one point or still are in Rise Against. I met Tim last night and asked him about TKT and he said that he still hasn't completely shut the door on TKT.

baxter was tim's first band, then he started rise against and am not completly sure when he started the killing tree but i do know for a fact that it is his side project and they did put out a few ablums but there inposable find in store's but you can order it...An as for the secretive part am still tryin to figure that part out myself.

He didn't start RA right after Baxter, he joined a band called Arma Angelus or something, playing bass guitar and he left them to form Rise Against and yea TKT is a side project but I doubt weezfan524 words cause I've heard from Tim that he's not even close to having a phone conversation with the people from TKT, who now play in The Holy Roman Empire btw :D

i think rise against is a bit older... because they played as transistor revolt at the end of the 90ies also...the first demos were released about the same time both 2000 "Bury Me at Make-Out Creek EP" by The Killing Tree and "Transistor Revolt EP" by Transistor Revolt/Rise Against...wtf...it doesn't matter

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it won't appeal to other people. I like The Killing Tree more than Rise Against. This is more my style i guess. RA is more popular cause Tim started it first and it got all the attention. To say that none of The Killing Tree's songs are good is a low blow to all fans of this band.
