I am trying to get ready for some coming bad times instead of enjoying the present. Politicians are no help. I feel the need to help myself and when you are stressed for a few years the right thing to do maybe is not the correct thing to do.

Politicians need help, I cant give it. If you have the need to run for office then you have the responsibility to the people in your area to perform in their behalf. It just makes me mad...

Fix is obvious in three words: Right to Work.

And the amazing thing about Right to Work is that it is not some kind of an anti-Union law - Right To Work actually allows for MORE unions to form - various factories could have multiple unions OR workers could opt out of a Union all together.

As it is now - if you don't join the Union at some company - the Union can fire you.

Got to be honest. Republicans can't fix this problem. we need a 'regime change.' Just like the Lions...when you're in last place year after year, band aids won't fix anything. At some point you must realize it's time to start over, that everything you have done at this point must be the opposite of reality, and fixing one or two things will only get you...almost last place. that turned lost years into a lost decade for MI. Now Perhaps a lost generation.
