This . . . ad. . . drove . . . me . . . fucking . . . CRAZY as a kid! I know I put my parents through complete hell after I saw this - I remember it was a Micronauts Christmas that year! I thought I would never see that segment where he's holding Time Traveler and bending his knee ever again! This is exactly as I remember it in ~1976/77!!! Man, thanks for posting this; what a great memory. Wow. This made me really happy.

I guess I must have seen this commercial back then cause I always thought it was pronounced ah-kroy'yer. Either way they were some of the coolest toys ever.
