Incredible tribute Nick. I like to look at this once in awhile. The part of ''us never getting over it'' brings me to tears to my eyes often. Brilliant work my friend.
Just caught this. A brilliant and beautiful tribute to the inspiration to many of us obsessive puppeteers. What did you use for the facial skin; it was marvelously translucent? Great job, and God bless.
Beautiful! A great little movie. I especially liked the kid with glazed over expression, and his friend waving his hand in front! Doing a short film like this takes a lot of dedication and love. Bravo!!
This is just amazing Nick - That theatre just looks packed full of people!
These guys are brilliant characters... I really bought into the bedazzled amazement of the little fella in the horn-rimmed glasses. Such an original take on this whole thing.
And as I've said - The animation is wonderful... The second the little kid comes out of the theatre, you just instantly see Cyclops in your mind's eye! Totally amazing!
wow that was great, especially dig the new style of movement of the cyclops boy in the end - that one really made it a great tribute instead of just a memory.
This video reminds me of when I first bought the Seventh Voyage of Sinbad on video and watched it for the first time when I was about five, and I still love it to this day! having the characters act out the movie is a good twist. The last line rang true "some of us never do get over it."
Hi Nick - Can I suggest you Edit to change the title of this film to "harryhausen90 - Walking the Walk - Hilligoss" or similar... Please also add "harryhausen" and "harryhausen90" to the TAGS section for this video.
The "harryhausen90" in the title, ensures anyone searching for videos relating to Harryhausen90 will find them..
Wow - Can't take my eyes off the animation... keep making spelling mistakes I have to repair! :oP :o)
These things will ensure people find this brilliant film!
LOL at 0:50 - the movements are identical to how the cyclops was animated in the movie :D:D:D
