@pink10188 it is scary, but totally worth it. My family and I (ages range from 45 - 10) went to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Universal Island of Adventure. HANDS DOWN this is the one that scared us the most. Definitely worth it.

A tip: Even if you don't get the fastpass on this one, get the disney app and wait until the afternoon, the wait time dropped significantly around 5 pm or so.

@ThemeParkObsessive You don't, but you fall into the darkness, backwards. At some point, you honestly loose traction of motion and wonder whether you are moving forward or backward. it makes a lot of STEEP turns at 45 degrees

No, it doesn't go upside down. The most extreme part of the ride is right after you descend backward into the mountain. You catch up to 3 G's. It's beyond fun though, you'll want to go on it multiple times like the guys who went on it 8 and 18 times haha.

This ride is literally amazing. At the beginning when you go backwards it feels kinda scary but that part only lasts about 15 to 20 seconds so don't be scared. It's a very fun ride I went in it and it wasn't that scary. But just remember to SCREAM when you go down that big ramp because it's like 40ft in the sky and you start to feel very nervous and scared but just close your eyes when it goes fast and you will have a lot of fun. Also NEVER go to the front line it's the worst idea u can ever ge

The first time I rode this I really didn't want to but my family made me. My mom and I were in line and some kid had thrown up on one of the carts right before we were supposed to get one which really freaked me out. Then of course I was put in the first row and I started to cry when it went backwards.... I was like 11 at the time too hahaha

The ride DOES NOT go upside down or corkscrew in the dark. If it does, you'd have a harness that goes over your shoulders as a restraint, not a lap bar. Backwards it does go through a descending and steep double helix. It was actually very fun!

Aww. I wanted to go on this when I was at Disney World, but we spent the first part of the day at Hollywood Studios and then we were going to go over to Animal Kingdom, but it started raining and by the time it stopped it was too late since Animal Kingdom closes earlier than the other parks for some reason. So I was pretty disappointed I didn't get to try this. But I did have fun going to Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom.

For a while it was in a mode where it didn't move but strobe lights gave the illusion that it was moving, however it has been completely removed from the attraction to be fixed and will be reinstalled when it is fixed.. but its been several years since he was removed...
