Wrong... Very wrong. HOTD Arcade, PC, & Sega Saturn all have the bad ending. I didn't get the good ending is because I didn't continue once.

When you look at my score, its bellow 60,000 & the last digit is zero. That is the requirements to get the bad ending in HOTD 1 & 2 but in HOTD 2 its 80,000 since there are two extra chapters. And I went down the paths that saved small number of scientist, especially on chapter 2 where it almost decides your faith, once you save them, you get a bigger ammount of points than shooting the zombie in the head.
