Standing on it's own, I enjoyed the film, but I'll always default to the Justice Lords if I have to pick a favorite. The writers could've probably taken a page from Dini to improve the film, but for what it offers, it wasn't that horrible.

The characters in the Syndicate Universe Satellite fight were alternates of Batman's Outsiders team and the Detroit Justice League team. And they changed Superwoman to be Mary Marvels alternate not Wonder Woman's. Wonder Woman's was Olympia the character she Fought. I though it was cool that Jonn Jonzz alternate looked Like a Martian from Edgar Rice Burroughs John Carter of Mars stories. I also really liked how the Syndicate was a real criminal syndicate with "families" and was more organized.

DC actually has alot of cool characters but they focus too much on the popular ones like Batman & Superman. I wished DC would put more attention to the minor characters like Etrigan the demon, Lobo, Captain Marvel, Martian Manhunter, etc.
I look at it like so: MARVEL has generally better characters, but DC has excellent writers that have made their characters much more full and interesting to me. in Marvel, I don't care about their C-listers that much, but in DC, I've come to like more minor characters as much as the bigger names.

no earth 2 contained the heroes of the Golden age of comics. earth 3 was were the heroes were the villains and the villains were the heroes. the Luthor from earth 3 (pre crisis) is the father of alexander luthor from crisis on infinite earths and Infinite Crisis...

@blowshimselfupdude LOL -- this is confusing. Pre-Crisis, Earth 2 had Jay Garrick and Alan Scott (original Flash and GL), but the two Earths eventually folded and became one earth. Thus, the new Earth 2 (which had previously been Earth 3) became the Earth with the Crime Syndicate.
