Too bad Seasons 4 & 5 of "Highway To Heaven" were never put on DVD. It would have been nice if all fans could actually own official copies of all 111 episodes.

People today don't know what great TV is. "Housewives" of wherever, The *shudders* Jersey Shore" (YUCK!), American Idol, etc. There's a few decent shows here & there, but primarily, they're all crap. Age/Era has nothing to do with it either. I grew up in the 70's - 80's. There were GREAT shows in the 70's (Golden Age of Sitcoms IMO), but also in the 50's & 60's, which though not my era, still had good shows. It's all gone down hill since "Reality" TV took over. Cheap to make & profitable.

@gjc82071 "Idol" is OK. It's the other IDIOT Reality shows that's what's wrong with TV.  Keyword in that being "IDIOT" just like mentioning of "The Real Housewives of ______", "Jersey Shore" and shows like that are overshadowing what could be GOOD TV!

@EKB316 I don't even know how they consider some of them to be "reality" shows. Yea, OK, maybe Ice Road Truckers, Axe men, Swamp People, etc....but Jersey Shore, once the started paying/scripting the "ACTORS", it's no longer reality, @ least not in MY definition of the word. Nobody pays ME to go out to bars, get drunk & fuck chicks. That is no "reality" that I or anybody I know, would be familiar with, lol (fun maybe, hehehe)

Idol WAS kinda cool @ 1st. I'm sick of it after 5th or 6th season.
