Never, i put mines and other players just run onto them and blow up. Bridges, other chke points and roads are awesome spots.

Vehicles, when you tell them to go far away on the minimap, will auto use roads since its faster.

I also use them around captured ressources, then the infantry blows up when he comes to cap your point.

Big minefields are a no no , you got to scatter mines.

Or I use tank traps, leave space for tank to come threw, and put mine in between, i make chokepoints

sure mines work, but a lot of players simply forget them to use...by the way, you play mostly axis? or allied?

@luuko656 Either Axis or allies, i dont really minde. Mostly American or Wermacht, sometimes brits, rarely Panzer Elite. You ?

This is fantastic for clearing minefeilds, but if you do local skirmish CPU players dont lay many mines and even if you played online i havnt found a situation yet that there is a large minefield where you would need this, so its not used that much at all in the game

A churchill with a mine plow is your best way to "cut through" the field.
