Just a question...i thought you were supposed to put powder on the keep the cream and liquid from slipping off....so if you aren't putting powder over the cream blush does it slip and fade during the day?

@xosomelikeithot typically make up "slips" off where you get oily. people that have very oily skin typically don't do dewy make up looks because it just makes them look super shiny. but if your skin is dry/normal/combo you can get away with leaving the cheeks powder-free to achieve a more dewy look. just depends on your skin type! hope this helps.

Great tip :-) I loved this look and now i am feeling a little silly as I said in a comment on your video on make up for ever powder ( showing how it can show up on flash photos ) That i was not a fan of powder , but after seeing this i am going to try again . Great Vid Wayne but I personally have a burning question which I'm just dying to find an answer to: I have a slightly oilier skin; some dilated pores at T-zone and "beyond". I just love the dewy look, but if not set with powder, my makeup doesn't hold up. Also; I would just love to get that really glowy cheek look going but shine products and highlighters for the most part just magnify my pores and I end up looking..."diry" within 5 minutes. Sorry, kinda confused. If you powder with a puff, doesn't that leave a chalkier and cakier effect than when you use a nice fluffy brush? I thought brushes pick up less powder and don't make your face as powdery? So confused :S

@sammy11232003 i believe its because its for video/film. you always want to apply a bit more color/intensity for video recordings / photography so that it shows up more. I would recommend a lighter touch for normal day to day use.
