  • I wish I can get one of these to ride around in NY with. but I wouldn't probably fit because I'm 6 ft and 5 inches in height and probably a little over being that I'm 380 (that's with a combination of muscle with fat), damn. I very active I already dropped 40 pounds, but it seems I'm going to have to drop 200 in order to get one of these.

  • @NASIRUB1 Your length is not the problem, my colleague is that long and fits. It's probably your shoulder width which is too much. 21" is about the limit. We can make a Mango sturdy enough for your weight, but you must be able to lift yourself up from the seat. Good luck with loosing weight!

  • One sided wheel suspension, that's right. One of the reasons why these velomobiles are so praktical. I'll make a video of a Mango in progress someday soon, so you can see the interior.

  • Many Thanks

That would be great to see a Mango in progress of assembly.

  • Watching the video once again I see that the rear wheel is attached to the frame on one side of the hub. Perhaps like a strut type set up. I had been wondering just how one would pull a tube out of the rear tire if it was attached on both sides of the hub.

It must be great to be able to ride with such a great group of people.

  • Very Cool. It looked pretty raw and chilly out there. Is it warmer riding a velomobile than an open trike or regular bicycle? Is it primarily Mango and Quest velomobiles that your friend have?

What do you think of those two models?

  • It is definitely much warmer in a velomobile.

Quest and Mango are the most popular velomobiles in the world. I believe these two types have the best value for the money and are the most praktical velomobiles, developed as they are by people that travel a lot with them. I must confess that I build Mango's and ride both Quest and Mango. Quest is the speediest velomobile there is and has a lot of space for luggage. Mango is less aero but lighter, compact and agile.

  • This looks like a lot of fun. You have a great group of riders. Thank you for posting to our group.

    Gary

  • Hoeveel mensen deden er mee?

  • 27, er waren een paar afzeggers door het slechte weer
