@SuperSad101 i think it works like, theres a cobblestone genorator and pistons on pulsing/rapid pulsing . pistons can only can only push 12 blocks, so i think when someone destroys a block, another peice of cobblestone comes up.

not if you have the lava and water to the side (or behind the walls), in stead of under the walls. Then pistons would push the new blocks to forward, and then pistons at different height levels pushed them up.
