Um, when someone comes up with their own version of a song, I believe they can play any chords they want.

There are no rules that constitute a cover, such as whether or not you can change chords or strum patterns. With that being said, the chords I've chosen to play obviously mimic the original melody. Just because the chords were changed doesn't mean it was total crap. There are plenty of covers on youtube with correct chords that still sound like "total crap", as you might say.

Maybe you should tell me the "right" chords so that I can upload a video that meets your approval.
