I had the pleasure of knowing Fred Johnson their original bass - I met them all at their managers home Jules Kruspir in Upper St. Claire (Pittsburgh suburb). I played guitar in a sesson with Fred. They had 3 good flip sides this one "Goodbye to Love' and 'Really Need Your Love' all worthy of being 'A' sides!

@doowopman49 Their first hit, Blue Moon was a B-side & recorded in a single take! I spent an hour with Stu Phillips last week - the producer who put the Marcels on the map 50 years ago this month. An amazing composer/arranger/conductor, he did the music for Battlestar Gallactica, Buck Rogers & Knight Rider & 12 albums as leader of Hollyridge Strings. go to his channel at bsgkr2000 & show Stu some love - he's earned it. We wouldn't have had Blue Moon & the Marcels without him !!! chuck
