@murcielagosegunda kinda late for a response...but you need to find out what void you are trying to fill with these things...if you don't know what void you are trying to fill then its practically impossible to stop. Once you know what it is (loneliness, low self-esteem, need for attention) whatever it may be, then you need to get into the word and find out what it says about that particular void or issue. Also you should let a Christian you trust, and can advise you, know your issue and that

I was the lonely girl who tried to mimic a previous relationship and let a man in my life too soon. We have had good and bad times and have decided to start a spiritual journey together, but I still kinda feel like I should let him go at times and work on me, but I'm afraid to be "lonely" . This is so true, this happened to me, I used to be like that, but God is loosing me from this thought pattern and is changing my mind. Loneliness is also a demon spirit. No one is alone because God is present especially to the Christian. So, a loneliness spirit will enter when you don't believe that God is present and when you look to world's standard for life which says 'you have to be with someone to be whole'. That spirit is a liar and will make you do things that destroy your life.

i too struggle with this and im married not saying i dont love my wife but we have seperate days off. we battle the hardest when we are alone and lonely so we dont like to be alone but thanks to brothers like you and minisrties like this we can now fight and be encouraged by the word of GOD and his fullfillment. starting this day on i will test GOD on his desires and fullfillment.thanks pastor cox wish i could be around you guys very encouarging type of people i love

i think one of the best ways to believe and trust in god is to study satanism and luciferianism in our government and music. because i was spectical too, i didnt believe it. but once i learned a lot about our government (our real government, the people who actually run things) and our music, i realized i was wrong and now i walk around with my head up and with a sword in my hand (obviously not a real sword) =]

i just wanna say that God allowed me 2 get on here right after i had just rededicated myself 2 Him so that i could hear this. I realize that the stuff He's been revealing to me about myself have stemmed from me walking away from the intimacy I had with Him, feeling empty, and becoming lonely. Man, God is so infinite in wisdom, and He deserves all the glory and honor. I've never heard that part u said at the end put quite like that. Bc we r meant 4 another place, the world cant fix our desires.
