It doesn't get any better than this. I have been in pikes peak when i was living in Boulder, its a shame that they are going to pave it. They are going to mess up the PPIHC !!! I don't understand how they can get away with something like this.

It's called a hillclimb, or the better description; Race to the Clouds. There really is nothing else quite like it. Its a combination of road race and flat track, with the tighter sections like the "Ws" seeing some supermoto style. Unfortunately, the greenies have convinced the Colorado Springs City Council to pave the whole darned thing. 2009 may be the last year with any dirt. It will then just be a point to point road race.
