I bought one of those "ove gloves" that have been on the infomercials...works good and you can switch it on either hand depending on which feels more comfortable. The 3 finger glove thing didn't work out for me, kept catching my finger and was too scared to hold the ends against the wand so they always looked silly (i have shorter hair for now). You can find the glove at drugstores now!

I used the other day and old exfoliating glove with a regular curling iron from conair also, and it worked perfectly! ;D try it!

As far as I know, if you turn the tool on to just Power, the temperature is about 215ish (maybe a few degrees more or less). That way it's a tool that can work with all hair types. (:

@TheMissRenesmee There are a couple ways to get curls w/o heat! You can use either paper or socks. You just wrap your hair around the material and sleep with it, look up "sock curls" or "paper curls" on youtube for tutorials :)

Thanks for profiling this tool. After another one of your vids I went and bought what I thought you used - but I'm so disappointed with what I purchased. I got a JilBere flat iron/wand that looked like what you used, but it has a flat side. I tried and tried to get softer waves, but they all looked like the old-style criper. Very '80s crimped rocker hair - not romantic curls at all. Now I know what to get... and for a lot less! Ignore all haters - your vids are great!

lol...I have the curling wand and when I saw the glove...all I could think was "What like what. what is this. it's like a sweater vest but its a glove." like how sweater vests only keep the middle part of your body warm...the glove only protects half your hand! either way they are both pretty useless. but i love the curling iron! :)

I have a clipless curling iron that came with a similar glove with protection for only the thumb and the pointy finger! It only protects on the inner side of the fingers too. I burnt my fingers. I'm glad a hair guru like you dislikes them too. That way I know it's not just me being a clutz. :P I need to buy a full glove.

it's just a braid on the side...if you want it to look exactly like it, curl it VERY lightly.
