@Cheesecakemilitia2 The problem with the second choice is that the guy who "got bored one day and decided to take voice lessons" just isn't going to be as talented, or as interesting, as the first choice. Why? Because the guy with voice coaching may sing in tune and get everything 'right', but he won't have the 'soul', and the emotion will never shine through like with someone who has a genuine emotional connection (happy or sad) to what he or she is singing.
