@fasx56 Potential??? Irma would be profound just singing the phone book! Easily heads and tails above any of the so-called "queens" of soul, Aretha included. Her take of "Time is on My Side" is easily one of the very tippy top great preformances of all time.

vocally she was up there with Aretha, Etta, I don't understand why she didnt make it as big. Irma and Candi Staton are, in my book the best female soul singers of their era.
