  • @kpark89 oh another good solution is a standard pellet gun with shot shells. nice and quiet if you are in a suburban area. just have someone bang on the wall while the woodpecker is pecking and when he flies away blast him. if you don't have good aim you'd better do it with a shotgun but that's a bad idea in a residential area so you better do my glue trap idea. but if you're out in the sticks nothing would be better than a good ol' shotgun

  • If your just wanting to stop one from puting a hole in your eves or the likes, one might try linseed oil. The raw version is even use a medicine for horses.
