rhe guy singing this song sounds like adam duritz from the counting crows O.o but its not o.o. I often wonder if the kids who killed or the altheimers people who killed in this series ever went to jail? Like did this kid go to jail did the old man from world's end ever went to jail. Even the young boy who accidently shot his younger sister in early 90s went to jail. I love this show <3

This episode actually got me hooked into this song. Even though I had heard about A White Shade of Pale (my dad was a big fan of Procol Harum in the 60's.. and still is) and found it's lyrics very interesting, I really hadn't listened to it until this episode.

I think Cold Case is the best crime series on tv. You really get sucked into the story and the characters are interesting. Plus it's also one of the few programmes that have made me cry. :P

@WillyM79 I just finished watching it about 5 minutes ago today at 2-3p Houston, TX time and I said the same exact thing. They did not show Danny's sister when she was a child, except for when they were solving the case.

One Small Step just went off about 10 minutes ago in Houston, TX-TNT channel-comes on at 2p, goes off at 3p. I noticed they only showed Danny's sister at the beginning while the case was still being solved, but they didn't show her as a child at the end.

the case of a little boy murdered during the moon landing was reopened. turns out that day he and his little friends had planned a 'stand by me' style trip into the woods to launch their own little bottle rocket. well long story short the dead boy showed up the leader of their little group , the leader came off looking like a wuss and one little boy killed the other.

yeah, it also reminded me of "stand by me", and I also recall a particular scene in which they're running from a guardian and they have to jump over a fence or something.
