i live in the netherlands! its 16 here to drive a 50cc which can't go faster than 30 miles. AND THAT SUCKS :P

They usually test ride the bike and measure the speed with a laser gun(might be the wrong word), then if it's too fast, they might demand an inspection of the moped, and they give you a chanse too show it in orginal state, or they will give you a fine and push back the date for when you can take your driving license, how long varies from case to case, and also the punishment. That's the most common procedures in sweden i think.

they come standard with a 50cc cilinder and a 12mm carb goes around 40 miles/h i believe...

you can tune it though and let in run like 60 maybe even 70 miles/h!!
