It was late when I typed it so sorry about that.

The song was a 19th century English hymn and possibly England's most patriotic song. They did a cover like a good symphonic Prog band most likely to show patriotic spirit.

Back to the point. It was a choral piece so the vocals shouldn't matter as much as you think.

You nailed the music. Vocals started out strong. But weakened into the tune. Work on that. If you can keep the voc's at the level they start at the top of the song you'll have something to brag about.

Years ago I gave some friends a ride in my car and one of them was from England & I had a tape of ELP's Brain Salad Surgery in the deck at the time and she started singing every word to Jerusalem. Turns out they sang this song just about every day in school and it's an ancient hymn. I had no idea. Best ELP Album too IMHO
