Not a great believer in AGW in fact I'm a total sceptic but I was impressed by some if not most of what Eric Smidth says. He proves to a large degree that renewable energy could work and be profitable. What he fails to see is that the those that propagate global warming are not interested in finding solutions, they are interested in personal power and population control.

He read a quote about America being a success because it did not have a king, not quite true it just elects it's king.

I was listening to this podcast on my way into work this morning and I was really hopeful about the future of our country. Google is one of the smartest companies on the planet and it is a testament to the the forward thinking of it's leadership. I also believe that retooling our energy policy/infrastructure the "killer app" for reforming the global economy.
