If it had not been for a very few Christian people, and VOM, who WERE loving and kind toward me when I was desperately ill and poor, I would have turned atheist instead of turning from Protestant to Messianic. Christ is not the problem; nasty Christians are.

So, anyway, after my back finally heals enough, and I get through college (I am finally well enough to take one class at a time currently, but I hope to go full time later on, after my back heals some more) and get a job, GFA will never again get a single cent from me, after they showed to me their version of "Christian love." They can eat spiders, for all I care.

I really got the idea that if THIS is how Christians demonstrate their Christ's love, I want nothing to do with Christians and their churches and organizations.

After Bible study, I figured out that G-d, and Christ, are not behind this lack of love for those who are very sick, very poor, and are struggling to further the Kingdom, and so I rejected Christians, and turned to Christ in Messianics.

I am weeping now. I cannot even BEGIN to tell you how broken and wounded my heart is.

I wish I were not so hostile toward Christians like GFA like I now am, but I am because of what I endured during 18 years of severe illness and poverty.

I would be lying if I said that GFA and the others were shining examples to me of Christ's love, but they were not. They failed miserably.

One star because I am a former GFA missionary supporter, and I experienced firsthand the way GFA treats missionary supporters who become violently chronically ill and poor. It was very eye-opening, and they are one of the reasons why I quit Christian churches and the vast majority of Christian organizations for good. I am now a Messianic, in part because of GFA and KP Yohannan.

I praise the life of total dedication of these brothers having to live from such poor donations as from us. I appreciate the efforts of this extraordinary man KP Yohannan trying to make us - the 'rich family'- to give what belongs to God back to God, to the mission fields, sometimes even using hard words of rebuke in an attempt to awaken us up. Isn't that we so often give so much to Caesar?...

I am in the US, yes, but I am not overflowing in money. I am on governmental disability checks.

The way GFA treated me when I was violently ill, was downright nauseating.

Why did he never reply to any of my emails when I was a GFA-missionary supporter? He knew what was going on, as I emailed him for urgent prayer, and did not care enough to even bother to reply.

The way a Christian person/organization treats those who are very sick and struggling with poverty, says A LOT about the person/organization. GFA failed the test miserably with me. That is why I am so hostile toward them now.

If GFA, and the other Christians, churches, and Christian organizations, had been a bit nicer toward me when I was in such utter desperation, I might not be so hostile toward them now, and I might not have quit all Christian churches for good.

What are sorry state you are in... it's all about you. There are people who are in worse situations and have a positive look on life. May the Lord heal your wounds dear brother and take out the bitterness from your heart. When you work in such hursh environment with so little to live from your language or behaviour might become very rude. Looking at the language of apostles you might say that is not very polite and sweety which so many times hides the hypocrisy. I bet the Pharisees had excellent manners and rich vocabulary. Pharisees would always respond to your emails very politely, maybe not so often the apostles...

I was having frequent attacks of suddenly collapsing all over the place. I collapsed while shopping at the store Target once, while in the checkout line, in front of everyone. I collapsed while while riding a bus, and had to have two people carry me off the bus because I couldn't even stand up on my own. I collapsed in the shower. All of this was adding sprains upon sprains, upon sprains, worsening existing injuries. I begged for urgent prayer for healing, yet GFA was rather cold and harsh.

Their attitude was that my focus should be on Christ and ministry, not upon healing. Oh really???! I was in very dire straits, as the injuries were becoming increasingly severe because they could not heal properly before having more sprains added on to them, and I was sure that I was going to eventually die of this, from collapsing while crossing a busy street or while boiling water or cooking or something! I don't think they understood the seriousness of all this and what they were doing.

So, well, anyway, I am finally on medication that has stopped the profound vertigo spells, excruciating migraines, and sudden collapsing, as of November of 2007, but I am currently slowly healing from a very severe lower-back sprain that is deep in the tissues. I endured very painful physical therapy (I cried and grit my teeth through it), and am still slowly healing. I was utterly shocked and stunned by GFA's (and other Christians') general lack of love, concern, prayer, and encouragement.

I want to become a traveling medical doctor someday, trying to eradicate malaria. L-rd willing, I very much want to eventually enter medical school. The L-rd has answered 18 years of prayers, but none of this thanks goes to any prayers and encouragement from GFA, unfortunately. I cannot lie and say that GFA has been a beacon of light and love to me. Voice of the Martyrs has, however, and I would love to volunteer with VOM someday, L-rd willing. They have been one of the very few exceptions.

I just got blocked by Minister David on YouTube because I DARED to speak the TRUTH of what REALLY goes on behind the scenes in American Christianity and its churches and organizations. It's easier to block me than to hear the truth.

Quite frankly, a Christian is someone who follows Jesus example, and loves others unconditionally and puts serving others at their top priority list. Sooooo many people don't understand that, and they don't understand what true Christianity is about. I pray you will one day experience what that is like.
