Top is better than none,cuz it makes the ball dip more,which is your objective..Power comes from a good swing..Use the part of foot and ball buduiza shows you in his tutorial,go for a 1 step at first..Its not hard at all..You'll enjoy kicking knuckleballs soon enough..
