Tried playing this and got completely frustrated after about 30 seconds. What kind of an idiot would hard-code the mouse to forward/back movement? It makes it virtually impossible to use the mouse without bouncing all over the place. Look like a decent game for the time. Too bad the controls were designed by a moron.

No DOS is an entirely different OS than XP. Though there are emulators like DOSBox that can be used to run older games. However it should be said that there's multiple versions of DOSBox on their web page.

This is the version I played to the end in xenomania, it isn't the best but I like the voice samples.

It is a good game in any format and I don't play it on my Ps2 (I have the Ps1 game) because I don't have a memory card.

One thing that is a bit strange is the alien shrieks, I don't think they sound as good, they sound like dinossaurs.
