Why would they write about Jesus when the Romans were opposed to Christianity. And there is absolute no proof what so ever that Jesus ascended in to heaven without first being Crucified. So the burden of proof rests on Islam, we have history, I think Christianity is right until proved otherwise.

Which could have easily been done since the Romans would have took records of the ones they killed. It's odd that they didn't do this isn't it ? I think the apt explanation is, they did have records of Jesus being crucified. Also they could have shown the tomb of Jesus with no body in it because he wasn't crucified,as they knew the location

And they couldn't have shown that the tomb didn't have Jesus' body in because his body was in it for the first three days. So that refutes his claim the the Gospels AS A WHOLE were written decades later, some parts of them weren't. Secondly the Gospels have proved Historically veracious in much of what it says.

@SonsOfLibertyy That's a fallacious claim, you see Christians don't get engrossed in little trivial things, such as, what posture to pray in. Does it matter if you stand or kneel ? I mean really! we're all unique, we will prefer different ways. If you followed Jesus [Yeshua], why does the Qur'an contradict a lot of what he says ? It's evident that Christians follow Christ. Quran deny the crucifixion cuz simply its a Pagan belief, Jesus was never crucified.
Now the big Question is why christianity follow a Pagan belief ?
The Roman God Mithras was worshiped as a trinity and died in the cross for people sins, from where Romans got those belife ? from the Egyptians who also worshiped thier God as 3 in 1 and believed he died in the Cross for their sins. Hence why the Cross symbole is graved inside their Pyramids.

@SonsOfLibertyy All of them have been refuted multiple times. A word of warning, don't blindly adhere to things. It's funny how the crucifixion is documented by roman historians. Why would they write about Jesus when the Romans were opposed to Christianity. And there is absolute no proof what so ever that Jesus ascended in to heaven without first being Crucified. So the burden of proof rests on Islam, we have history, I think Christianity is right until proved otherwise.

Now if you want to believe that then you have to also concede Jesus didn't exist which also proves Islam wrong. So don't be so selective with what you accept. Zeitgeist claims Jesus corresponds to these other myths, so thus he didn't exist so you agreed with some of his claims. And he is opposed to Jesus even existing, so I would watch what sources you use.

The Romans and Jews didn't like Christianity when it first originated, so they could have easily exposed and scrutinized what the Christians claimed. Which could have easily been done since the Romans would have took records of the ones they killed. It's odd that they didn't do this isn't it ? I think the apt explanation is, they did have records of Jesus being crucified. Also they could have shown the tomb of Jesus with no body in it because he wasn't crucified,as they knew the location

And they couldn't have shown that the tomb didn't have Jesus' body in because his body was in it for the first three days. Secondly, many of the first Christians got martyred, one even got crucified upside down because they believed in Jesus Christ. Now explain why they would allow themselves to be killed if they knew it was a lie ?

The Romans were opposed to Christianity until (around the time) Constantine converted to Christianity. So they persecuted Christians for circa. 300 years. Why didn't they expose the crucifixion story if the knew it was false ? and they didn't want Christianity to flourish. BECAUSE IT HAPPENED.

@SonsOfLibertyy 'Bart Ehrman' Evidently isn't an intellectual. There were proto gospels written before the Gospels which contained the sayings of Jesus which were compiled in the Gospels. So that refutes his claim the the Gospels AS A WHOLE were written decades later, some parts of them weren't. Secondly the Gospels have proved Historically veracious in much of what it says.

Which by the way is not 'Chinese whispers' Oral tradition is the learning of something orally until they know it 'off by heart' so the gospels won't have been (as many presume) distorted orally. Even if you want to deny what oral tradition is, I would ask you this. If Oral tradition is such a distortion of the real happenings, how can you trust any of the Qur'an as that was all Oral tradition.

@SonsOfLibertyy One more thing, some of the stories in the Qur'an resemble the stories in some Gnostic Gospels. So unless you have evidence that the Gnostics (Written later than the Gospels and Letters with no evidence backing them up) are true, how can I believe you ? If you can prove them to be true then I may consider your arguments. And if you could prove them true could validate a lot more of the Islamic stories.
