Do you know the cast? I saw the scene as I said in another post =f the death of the Duchess as a small boy--never forgot it you know there is so much crap ON U tube and to come upon this! (I do by chance have a bad vhs of it--can it be legally down loaded? If so how?) I cannot thank you enough.
splendid--Shakespearean in its greatness--I have been lucky enough to see it on stage but I believe this is the best production of it I have ever seen.
@vivascargill Thank you for all the positive comments. I'm so pleased that others can appreciate such a great performance of a very under-appreciated play.
I unfortunately do not have any copies of any other similar or related productions. I would love to see any other similar productions and sincerely hope they surface in the near future. 'til then, thanks for all the feedback!
@Lothriel I think it is not under-appreciated but rarely shown--saw Glenda Jackson do "The White Devil" (I am teaching both next year) but I know the BBC has a program on Milton with John Neville that is splendid.
Fortunately I live in an area where these plays are done from time to time--but this performance (I saw on BBC in 1972) is the best--you have done a great thing!!

Not really my cup of tea Shakespeare but I appreciate the upload as it's helped for my exam tomorrow!
